QQ To Talk With China Mei Mei

Hi,

Would like to share with bros who uses IM client like MSN, Yahoo, QQ, etc. that there is a multi-protocol IM client call Pidgin that can work with MSN, Yahoo, QQ and more.

You don't need to download and install separate IM clients. Useful for bros who wants to communicate with their mei mei in China as you don't need to download and install QQ IM client.

This software is free and you can download it from Windows | Download | Pidgin.

There is another software similiar to Pidgin call Miranda. Unlike Pidgin, you need a plugin in order to work with QQ. You can download it from Miranda IM - Download. QQ plugin can be downloaded from Addons - Miranda IM. Look for MirandaQQ2 0.2.0.52.

For bros who have difficulty or no time to download, I have a CD (with Pidgin, Open Office, games and other softwares) available. Unlike the free download above, there is a small fee charge for the CD

Both The CD is not a must have afterall there are links for them to download the free programs.

Bros who chats using different IM clients with gf would find these useful.

hmm i downloaded already leh bro but ah where to have the girls emails to talk to. this is just like msn you have to go somewhere somehow know some girls before it is of any use?

Yes, you are right. This is a chat program to sian mm. No QQ, MSN or Yahoo games.

Juz like MSN, Yahoo and other IM, you need to have girls before chat. Like buying electronic items, batteries not included

Wrong, you still have to config your PC in order to key in Chinese texts.
But good news for bros who are fluent in Vietnamese. You can chat with your Vietnamese gf in Vietnamese (VIQR) without any config.

if you are using Vista, go to control panel and change the format to Chinese(PRC) undr Regional and Language Options. you should be able to view and type chinese words in QQ

Hi,

For bros who wants Chinese input, you need to first configure your PC/notebook. Hope the following links helps.

Configure for Chinese Input

Chinese Input (Usage): Writing Chinese on the Windows Platform

Bros who knows Hanyu Pinyin would find it a easier to enter Chinese text else you would have to struggle with pinyin for your Chinese characters. But then again mei mei would prove to be strong motivation to learn.
