Recommendation for Guangzhou

Hi guys, I'm new here, so please take it easy on me.

I'm going to Guangzhou next week, haven't book a hotel yet, any recommendations and places to cheong? What are the rates? Nothing hardcore, decent services would do.

Thanks, should I hide my wallet and passport, etc? Have anyone heard bad things about stolen credit card and passport?

hi peterpeter,some friends and i will be in dong guan on the 9 nov, care to meet up to cheong. we have been to CP and ZMT but nothing really exciting.
is it the first time there? we will be staying at a singaporean owned hotel in CP. care to join us, the rates are reasonable.

it's best to leave yr passport in the hotel n unless u really find it necessary better dont bring yr credit card to China. if not daylight robbery black shops can tell u foreigner they will "shua ka" until u die
