There has just got to be better ways to burn money than that .. but that's only my opinion ..

Well , we can only afford the 20B bills as its SGD0.85. Cant afford SGD2 bills and he did it only once to see how a rich man feels. :D

If you can afford 500B, here is what you can do for some fun and laughter. Exchange it into 25 X 20B bills, stuff them into your shirt, pants and underpants,and walk up to the dancing stage. The puyings will attack you like you are more hot than Brad Pitt. Your T-shirt will come off in 30sec despite your best efforts to keep it on, your belt buckle will come down 15 sec after that, and your jeans pulled down, and many hands will grope inside your underwear., and try pulling it down too. You will be holding to it for dear life, and thats why you could not protect your Tshirt and belt buckle and jeans from coming off. The punters will be laughing, the puyings will be screeching and screaming and getting physical, and everyonr will have a good time. The show lasts just three min and ends with you fleeing the stage holding your jeans and Tshirt in one hand and the other hand holding up your underwear as the puyings groped for the last baht bill. Warning: Do not try if you do not want to end up with a few scratches all over your body inc your brother and jewels kekeke:D:D

Yes, thats what I did one time some time back.

Thats why I prefer pattaya than any other places ; it can get wild sometimes ; especially Songkran! But I am giving Philliphines a try this year to see if I am missing anything.

If not round trip, this is expensive. Regular taxi from airport 1 way to Pattaya is only about bht1200. By private taxi (not the limo counter at airport) about bht1500. Thought you had suggested contact few months back?

If you need a taxi between airport and Pattaya, I always use this service Mr T: 1000 airport-Pattaya, 900 for return (incl. tolls). It's a private car service (limo), not meter-taxi. see Taxi to Pattaya from Bangkok Airport (http://www.paradise-pattaya.com/taxi-to-pattaya.html)

Otherwise you can also go directly to gate N°3, plenty of taxi services waiting there for the same price.

Have arrived in Pattaya..look a way from soi 2 all the way to famous walking street...wow..it damn hot....but a great walk to discover pattaya..too many choices to choose...it will to really visit all the club 3 days is not enough...

went to pattaya beer garden near walking street for lunch, ordered Tom Yum Goong, Fried Rice with Pork at 350B.

After lunch continue to walk discover walking street in the day time...

Agreed, need to have small change when driving in Thailand, will just have to pay up some, so as not to spoil the mood.

Should be planning for another driving trip beyond BKK soon.:p

My previous job had to drive to Malaysia almost every week never kana in more than 5 years! Guess my Thai limited plus the brown mafia more corrupt so juz pay up else get locked up for less than S$10 si beh boh hua! Don't envy me lah... u also can, if u want :D

Go to Walking Street! There are two special bars where model-like girls can be found!

First one is just under the escalator leading to Marine Disco and Peppermint Agogo. Called Bulldog or something like that now. Has a British flag as its sign ; girls dancing on bartop and around the bar. You cant miss it.

2nd one is the few bars opposite the big tree. After walking pass the a/m escalator , you reach a big tree on the (right) side of the road. Look to the other side of the road and have a seat at the bars. Model-like girls will soon approach you.

Alternatively , go try Throb at Pattayaland 3 or Kittens. There is also an agogo in Pattayaland 3 with a giant se thru watertank. You can then see your choices for the nite when they're diving and wet! My 'friend' was there personally to see it!

You will need a hotel since you've not read the painstaking and time consuming 34 pages of great advise. I recommend Ambiance Hotel (http://www.ambiance-pattaya.com/). Reasonable priced and at the heart of party town. It also has a gym and is guest friendly ; i.e. no need to pay for extra guest in your room.

Your friends are right. Phuket or Pattaya I think same-same. Songkran is like the biggest festival especially for the north-easterners (like Lunar New Year is to Chinese) since most girls working in bars & go-gos are from this region. So there will be girls but maybe not many and prices for those that remain maybe higher (like how your barber up price b4 CNY) too.

BTW I think it should be "advice"... :D

Semi true. Songkran for Pattaya and Changmai spreads till the 19th while mainly its celebrated on the 13-15th for the rest of thailand. Some girls (like chinese) will visit hometowns and stay a few more days. Others will home home early and rush back to Pattaya coz its more fun there ; i.e. more people , more party atmosphere. Dont remember to us visitors , its all about the waterfight but to the thais , its all about respect and blessings.

Pattaya is 2hr away from bangkok and this year ; (I think!) the thai govt has extended the holidays to include the long weekend. So many thai puyings ; working and non-working will descend onto partytown for the weekend.

FYI 19th April will have the entire Beach Road closed and there will be paradaes , street vendors and live bands from noon till 6ish pm. Fouk-out doesnt even come close!

If you're the type who likes waterfights and a relaxing lay at night , I highly recommend it. If you're the type who 'die die must fuck stunning model type' , I advise you stick to Bangkok during non-Songkran timings.

PS my group goes every year and about 7 have confirmed this year. You guys are welcome to hook up in Pattaya if you want.

I dont go Phuket anymore. I still love the place coz of its beauty (away from Patong) and it hold many memories (and mammories!) as it was my first ever taste of Thailand :D but the place has priced itself out of the tourist market and just not worth it anymore since Juncelyon was built.

Prices in Phuket (apple to apple) can be as high as 3x of pattaya!

FYI , My Pattaya trip is after 13-15th but I will hit Pattaya a few days before the 19th.

Low season is coming and there are bound to be changes in Pattaya. The more the local mayor try to clean up the place , the more the bars flourish! There is local crackdown on prostitution and already one Boyztown agogo owner has already been hauled up to the police station for tomyum soup and bread.

Peppermint's lease is up and will move downstairs. Meanwhile , i assume the girls will go work in sister clubs Happy , Beach Club and affliliate Baccara. The space Peppermint is occupying now will be an extension of Marine Disco. Peppermint's group also bought Sisterz so it be interesting to see if they become the King's Group of Pattaya; hope they dont bring in Katoeys like Kings! :)

If you talk to some of the girls , especially FLers , some will tell you about Orchard Towers and off course the Thai Discos in Singapore. This is becasue a lot of them in the pattaya scene come here during low season to make more money.

A lot of smaller bars and agogos are springing up all the time all over the place and as usual , i recommend tourist staying longer than 5 days to check out the other areas.

However Walking street is still the place to be for short-trippers

Thanks to all those up and down me. It actually doesnt make any difference even if I am negative. Point cant buy me another trip to Pattaya!

Anyone who saw the show 'Pay It Forward' (staring Helen Hunt , Kelvin Spacy and Haley Joel 'I see dead people' Osment) will understand that eventually a good deed (or advise in this case) will come back and help you when you need it the most. I want to thank everyone who put up solid information about Pattaya, from taking Bell Buses, to where to stay, to the prices you can expect. I went couple of weeks ago and it all helped a LOT.

One thing I disagree on- the girls I saw weren't very pretty. Mostly they looked worn out and tired. The only pretty ones I saw worked in non sex ttrade- shop staff, hotel staff. Even the female hawker aunties looked less coarse sometimes than the ho's. That's just my opinion tho. I'm guessing the experts here know how to sort out the gems from the cows.

I noticed all the girls when I walked around and inside a couple of gogo bars I went into. I didn't know about the lighter skinned girls for the Koreans and Japanese though. I only read the previous 15 pages, so I guess I missed some things. I am still the student, and have much to learn from the masters :cool:

I agree with bros here- better than Phuket, unless you are purely beach lover- then Phuket better than Pattaya.

I partly agree with you that also in Pattaya most girls are a bit too old. So if you go to bars or discos, you need good eyes to pick up the few young ones (and sometimes pick them up early). But at least (if you don't find in bier bars, I ended more than often in Gogos around 1 am!) you can go to Gogo bars and find young talents there, for a price which is still reasonable, 1500/2000 ST, 2000/2500 LT. In Phuket, even gogo bars may be hopeless on this criteria, and prices are +500 to +1000 compared to Pattaya prices.

Coconut Bar alwayz a risk... furthermore itz dark and u dunno wat u may pick up until is too late. Last November when I was there some katoeys beat up & robbed a tourist there. Katoeys also have their own bar at Soi 6 infamous for its short time bars... always mistaken me for Jap. Fun buggers they r but I juz dun get 2 cozy with them. After hours song-taews (aka baht bus)? Usually when the bars close at 2am only motorsi's are operating. BTW 1st time Pattaya bros... Pattaya doesn't have your regular 4 wheel taxi like Bangkok. Either songteaws or motorcycle taxis. Damn motorsi costs more then in BKK. Short distance already charging Bht60.

Thats why its more my knid of town ; anythng can happen. But its less wild now coz more people = more customers = more money = more regulation.

There's so much money at stake now , the local mafia (or govt ; no diff!) wont let things go too much out of control.

10-20 years ago , you can still find specialty shops opening in strange places. Now Soi Baukow is still spreading (especially Soi Diana area) but you wont find gem of a shop in further and obscure areas.

I've had several incidents, where ladyboys on mopeds wants to pick me up for short time, man becareful of aggressive ladyboys!

I think this is a overstated and newbies should not be stressed about Pattaya. Me (and plenty of other people I know) never had problems there and enjoy quite cool and relaxing holidays there. Of course problems MAY happen as anywhere, but not more in Pat than elsewhere.

Kataoe: should be no problem as long as you respect them. Most people who had problems with them were stupid farangs who don't understand that. They want to pick you up, so what! Just remain patient and polite.

Beach Road:the girl's selection has improved recently (and for 500 THB!). Just take time to talk a bit before picking up a girl. Of course, lock your valuables, but this you should do with ANY girl, not just from Beach Road.

Bath Bus: In Pat I usually stay at Jomtien beach and take the bathbus to go to Walking street or soy 7/8 for 10 bath. I never had problems up to 5am to get one (when it's late you need sometimes to wait a bit more).

I think this is a overstated and newbies should not be stressed about Pattaya. Me (and plenty of other people I know) never had problems there and enjoy quite cool and relaxing holidays there. Of course problems MAY happen as anywhere, but not more in Pat than elsewhere.

Kataoe: should be no problem as long as you respect them. Most people who had problems with them were stupid farangs who don't understand that. They want to pick you up, so what! Just remain patient and polite.
Stupid falangs want to disturb them but when the tables are turned , they cant take it and claim the LB harrass them. If they really start to chase you , just avoid eye contact and walk away. Avoid letting them grab you coz your wallet will be at risk but then you shouldn't be bringing out your wallet anyway!

Beach Road:the girl's selection has improved recently (and for 500 THB!). Just take time to talk a bit before picking up a girl. Of course, lock your valuables, but this you should do with ANY girl, not just from Beach Road.
Coconut bar is not only for night time , some cuties ones are there in the afternoon. Good advise on the valuables coz its just plain common sense.

Bath Bus: In Pat I usually stay at Jomtien beach and take the bathbus to go to Walking street or soy 7/8 for 10 bath. I never had problems up to 5am to get one (when it's late you need sometimes to wait a bit more).

Same here. I will head for Patts if time permits, because it is not just about the price, but the fact that I can relax more during the day, and cheong more during the night. And of course, we are looking at a much bigger range of puyings, as compared to BKK.

That's my two cents worth, but last word is... as long as it's LOS, i love it! :D

well ......... the part owner of the place has already said it will close (or have already closed) coz the lease is up and Marine disco will enlarge their premisis into where Peppermint is now. It will then relocate downstairs. No sure about the timing but they would be dumb to miss the last festival (Songkran) before the low season. I susupect anytime now.

With last years world downturn affecting planning for this years trip for the angmos ; I suspect this year's low season will be the mother of all low seasons.

After my Pattaya trip I had a FL back in Singapore. Man, it is so expensive compared to Thailand. I spent almost $150 for this PRc SYT for 1.5 hours. For SGD$150, I could buy half the girls in a bar for a week! (almost :) )

Say, have any of the experienced Masters here tried asking out the sales girls instead of the hookers? I find some of the sales girls are prettier, and there was one who I got along with quite well and was quite pretty, but it never occurred to me to ask her out- it was the end of my last day in Pattaya :(

I think it's 300 Baht, but will save you money the first night out in Pattaya.

Go to Walking Street! There are two special bars where model-like girls can be found!

First one is just under the escalator leading to Marine Disco and Peppermint Agogo. Called Bulldog or something like that now. Has a British flag as its sign ; girls dancing on bartop and around the bar. You cant miss it.

2nd one is the few bars opposite the big tree. After walking pass the a/m escalator , you reach a big tree on the (right) side of the road. Look to the other side of the road and have a seat at the bars. Model-like girls will soon approach you.

Alternatively , go try Throb at Pattayaland 3 or Kittens. There is also an agogo in Pattayaland 3 with a giant se thru watertank. You can then see your choices for the nite when they're diving and wet! My 'friend' was there personally to see it!

Reached Pattaya yesterday around 8.30pm. Wow.. the crowd there is still as large as ever (so-called off peak season?), of course, the gals there are still so so many.
Went back to the few agogos as recommened in the internet: My say - Still disappointing in terms of girls quality - Heavens above, superbaby, supergirl, Club Borsce. I was at these places in my last trip to Pattaya in Dec which I had already found disappointing but want give 2nd chance. Surprisingly for me, Happy Agogo is great with tonnes of gals - with quite a few better than average quality, esp my fav big boobs! :D

Well...skipped the stories of my afternoon activity - Just laze ard, eat, thai massage and shop. Fast forward to night time 9pm where I started my cheonging again. :) Went to Insomnia, Barcara, Happy, Gentleman, Angelwitch, Shark and Iron club. Maybe it's Sun night? Lesser gals.

Didn't know that there is also a Barcara agogo, so just went in. Layout for Barcara in Pattaya the same (with the glass panel on top) as Bangkok but personal feeling is that the gals quality is still better in Bangkok.

Worst place for me last night --> Shark Agogo. very "dead" atmosphere with only 3 customers. Gals quality below average and not energetic.

The eastern Bus terminal at BKK Ekamai was easy nuff to get to. express bus cost 113b departing every 30mins, will take 1.40mins to get to patt.
At patt, If you are looking for a baht bus to transfer to, they will ask or direct you to the local tourism office to book hotel if you don’t have any hotel booking. (service is FOC) (most of their recommended hotels are upwards of 1500b)

As it's my 2nd time to patt, and being a low season weekend, decided to try my luck. Took baht bus to beach road, choose soi 8 to alight cos it’s quite central to all the happening yet away from the clutter of walking street.
Flipper lodge’s just 25m into soi 8, walkin rate of 1100b(without b/f) ; Tim of Bangkok hotels online reservation in Thailand. (http://www.thaihoteldiscounts.com) quote 997b before tax (with b/f)

If budget is suitable, I’ll think flipper lodge is ideal, decent and quite room(considering soi full of bars blasting away) roof-top pool/jacuzzi/café with full unblock view of pattaya beach. And just 30m from the beach!

After checkin, took a walk on the beach towards walking street to check out the street displays. For 500b a pop (ST) most CMI, but managed to find a gem of 19syt. (fall out from home… blar blar) 11pm by time we ended, took her out for supper. She wanted to come back with me, but I’ll rather have a peaceful night rest.

no..they do sell 30mins for 50b, 70mins for 100b, no 24hrs deals. Was told you can log out and split the time. So while walking/checking out the different soi, cool off from the noon heat to have a beer at baybreeze hotel-soi 11, free wifi to watch Australian F1 with..

Day 2

Waking up fresh, went to check out the roof top pool at 10am.. Whoa, FULL SEA VIEW left to right with no blockage… and looks like many folks wakes early there… lots of parasailing, jetski, banana boating out beyond the beach…

Elevated level Jacuzzi with its overflow falling to the small, decent and importantly clean pool below. Sundeck chairs surrounding the pool, scattered groups of farangs (mostly Germans, in 2 or 3s) coming up with their puyings.. Thinking back, all white meat except me at the pool level…took my brunch while enjoying the pool + the sea view for over 2 hours up there…

Went on foot to start exploring.. Central festival.. think is the biggest new mall in patt, is just on the next soi9… since was not there to explore the mall, just walk thru to cool down.. Cross over to soi Buakaow, saw ‘Rooms Available’ signage all over, 800b and downwards...

Looking for a nice massage place, but was building up sweat, so decided to cool down with a beer at Bay Breeze hotel on Soi11, hotel provides free WiFi, Sweet! Clear my mails, FB, while tracking F1 live!

Once cooled down, went to Culture Club MP joint soi 11(cos seems more authentic, old school-court yard layout) prices are somewhat similar..2-300/1-2hrs thai. Told the lady would like an hour thai b4 deciding if to carry-on oil.

Beds are arranged side-by-side divided with draw curtains, the massage lady would, from her normal jeans and top, transform to an oversized man’s workshirt and super minijeans. (machim ONS sleep-over) two-third into the hr, she asked what I’d like, said I could do Anything! I was more int in oil massage then sex, she said, she will oil me up for free as well, so I asked how much… 1200b for FJ.. told her to extend massage to 2 hour, so that she can oil me proper and then FJ… afterthought, felt cheated off a good traditional massage bcos they angle towards specials….. point to note if looking for clean massage only: established joints (uniformed and/or ugly staffs would be a safer bet, but not sure-win) think there are few shops on south Patt rd btw beach and 2nd that are family friendly.

Day 2 ptII

Noticed there’s lots of bike rental all around, from 150-300b/day; with time to spare before sunset, decided it’d be easier to check out the other parts of pat on bike. Rented a automatic (squeeze and go type) bike from soi8 (in front of hotel) then started exploring the other parts.

Rode to light house, view point, Buddha hill, jomtiem beach. Having a bike to zip around was a great way to check out all the different soi… went to soi 2/3 for a walkabout, then soi6, 7, 13.1.2.3 then walking street.. finally settled at walking street to soak up the scene… the only problem is having to stay sober nuff to ride... so, decided to park the bike back at hotel then go out again….

Then, got spotted by the 19syt, called me… so I was thinking should I ON her again?…. Humm… why not… tight body, wet…hella a good bang,… and cheap cheap…don’t have to break any ice…. So got some beers and up the room… round ONE… Beer…. Rested… round Two… sleep…. Woke up 11am… time to check out… paid her and she was on her way…

Took 50baht bus back to Bus terminal…back to BKK in 2hours...till the next time....

do you mean the bar in the galaxy-polo-complex on walking street? been there. lots of eastern european chicks (not necessarily russians although they all claim to be). did not stay for long. it's just a big rip-off. they overcharge for drinks and the stated prices for st or even lt are a joke.

the "real" russians who came to western europe at the beginning of the 90's were fabulous. very pretty and excellent service. but they learnt soon that they can make even more money in other places of the world and nowadays even back home in moscow or st.petersburg.

well, there are still the girls from ukraine, belarus, poland and other eastern european countries who often have the pretty looks and right attitude. you can catch them in clubs in germany, spain or in their homecountries (the latter only if you have a bit of an adventurous mind when it comes to travelling).

Please allow me to share my experience with you.
I was in Pattaya this year during Makha Bucha religious holiday on Sunday 28 Feb. In the day time at noon, the beer bars are already open with ladies available; although there are less ladies than on normal days. Alcohol is served as well. The only thing is that the beer bars do not switch on the lights at all so it is dark at night. Walking Street discos all close cos no lights are allowed. Some FL still standing along the street.
However, what I learned from one lau chiau living in Pattaya is that there is no fixed rule for such holidays. Sometimes more bars are open, sometimes more FL on the street, it depends on the day itself. But one thing is for sure, there is always pu-ying available in Pattaya. Even walking on the street and in shopping areas, you just smile at some one you fancy and 90% they will smile back, and thereafter it is up to your 'kung-fu' to hook the ladies. Do remember that nothing is free and the ladies you hook still expect some rewards$$.

The mayor of Pattaya made a few calls and told the generals that their bars & go-gos cannot meet hit sales targets this month if closed for too long.

Another piece of advice to bros on early morning flight and leaving from Pattaya. There are no bus services earlier than 7am so that means a Bht800 taxi ride to the airport! If u can share with some bros then fine if alone then thats very expensive when compared to Bell's Bht130 (around there, can't remember) ticket!

For the record it take about 30 minutes to reach the airport at 5am! No fucking joke... tot it will take at least an hour but tat taxi drove like a bat out of hell!

I've taken a Bell Bus at 6am.
They picked me up at 5.30am.

I agree with u about the speeds they drive when there is no traffic.
I will just pull down the front seat so i dun have to watch the world flash by ! :p

Bangkok hotel to Pattaya hotel is now Bht 350 with several stops ( mini van to pick up passengers, changed to big bus at their depot, stop at airport for more passengers, stop at their Pattaya station and change into mini van ).
Mini-van from Victory Monument (Bangkok) from BHT 170 to 180. Vans depart every 1/2 hour but in reality leave only when they are full which dun take too long to fill up.
Bus from Ekkamai Bus Station (Bangkok) BHT 113 - BTS Ekkamai. Buses leave every 1/2 hour or so from 6-7am to around 9 or 10pm.

Though u have to make your own way to the respective places for your transport but not a big problem because all served by BTS stations if you are staying in a Sukhumvit hotel. I prefer the mini-van coz if u let the driver know before hand he can drop u off at your soi. Also its faster.

If taking the bus make sure u take the blue & white express bus. The others are cheaper but make more unscheduled stops on the way to Pattaya. From Pattaya make your own way to your hotel with song-taews (costs only BHT20 any distance from station) as buses only stops at the main bus station.

Bro Ah Hia guess my plane was too early. Checked all the bus services in Pattaya & Jomtien. LL take taxi! :mad:

IMHO... Bell Service's bus & van shuttle to your hotel in Pattaya is still the cheapest & hassle free option from Suvarnabhumi. Take taxi alone too expensive. Another good option, if share with a few people, is a private hire mini-van. Public bus stopping at Laem Chabang probably adds another hour to your travelling time. Although Laem Chabang is not Bangkok it is still an urban center and traffic can be heavy.

28/5/2010 Friday, Wesak Day.
The Bell Service van dropped me off near my hotel in Walking Street. I was pretty amazed at the number of beer bars, agogos there. And was even more flabbergasted at the agogos located in the sois off Walking Street. This will be a very good location to have some good fun.
Walked along Beach Road towards Soi 6. It was a long walk. There were many puyings on Beach Rd. They were bad to outright horrible quality. A few made some nice talk to me but i smiled and ignored them. I am not going to fuck any outright horrible dark skin Issan mother in Pattaya !!!.
Explored Soi 6,7 and 8. Too many beer bars with a few small and closed agogo bars. Wesak meant no music, no lights and beer was hiddenly sold to customers. I only spotted 1 better quality girl in a beer bar but did not approach her as this was a look see experience. Later, i noticed where the agogo bars are located in or around Walking Street. No action tonight as my target ( the agogo bars ) are closed on Wesak Day. Better to rest early and sleep peacefully for tomorrow night action.

29/5/2010 Saturday.

From 4.30 pm to 3.30 am, i alone and we ( later ) went into so many agogos in or around Walking Street. I do not know the number of whisky nor beer i consumed. Neither can i remember how many Carona beer bottles and Screwdrivers that my girl drank. But it was a lot. Beer and liquor were cheaper than the bars in SC, NEP or Patpong. Neither do the service personal in the bars demand for 20 thb tip as in Danok.

SECRETS located in a soi was an agogo bar which i find to be misleading. The serving bar was located in the center and it should be a strategic location of a pole dancing stage. Secrets is nicely done up but more ...........a pub than an agogo bar !. The poles were located in off areas around the bar. The quality of girls just okay only. Had 2 whisky here and off i went ( and never to return to Secrets again ). Btw, there is a hotel under the same name above the bar.

Next stop was SUPER AGOGO located on Soi Diamond. The naked lady hidden behind the curtains showed me her assets and then covered her self up. Damn !. With an itchy small head, i went inside. It was a very small bar with the poles in the middle. That is where the strategic location of dancing stage should be, unliked in Secrets. Girls were the tan type but thank god no ugly mothers liked those on Beach Rd. here. Two better lookers were having of a fun time with a farang. One lady looked and smiled at me, i winked at her and smiled. The farang went away and she came over. One thing lead to another and i was raba raba her maximum. French kiss was .......no problem. The beer bar got 2 turning round bars. Don't think i wanna sit on stool on the turning bar and drink alcohol. May throw up bad and make a mess of things !. Today, i wanna get a model syt in SUPER GIRL or SUPER BABY !!!!.

Walked into SUPER GIRL. Damn !. I was correct about the girls !!!. Most were younger syts, with short skirts on, without the top and with their bikinis hanging on one of their shoulders, showing off their nice melons and nipples ( in various sizes ). No shows here. Reasonably priced for a fair syt when compared with THB 4000 LT for a syt in the Rainbow bars in NEP, Bangkok.

We left the bar. It was raining liked crazy. Borrowed an umbrella from the bar and walked to Lobster Pot, a seafood restaurant with expensive seafood dishes and serves mostly to tourists. After an expensive meal and more small talk, we hit the other bars.

We went into MISTY and SHARK bars. With a syt next to me, the girls in both these bars were pretty tan and , excuse me, rather ugly looking. And not much customers in both of these bars. We left after finishing our drinks and walked into ANGEL WITCH.
I have seen the show in Angelwitch, BKK 3 times. Now is the correct time to check out the Pattaya's Angelwitch. Seating arragement was rather round in sofas around a round main stage with poles going upwards to the second floor where there are more seats for customers to look downwards.
It was crowded here. The show was good. Much better than what i saw in Angelwitch, BKK. The " Come on, Come On, Down, Downwards " song got 4 ladies with "red wings" sliding down the long poles to their respective stations.
There were a lot of topless ladies that slided from 2nd floor to the main stage. The stage was packed to the brim. Then, the waitress came around to ask customers to buy the ping pong balls. I got 5 balls for 100thb ( no cheaper, meh ? ). A farang went to the 2nd flr area and slowly dumped THB 20 bills towards the girls. The notes floated down and the girls went crazy to search for the extra money. Customers also went for the notes. Then, the people liven things up and started to throw the ping pong balls. This created a mad scramble for both the THB 20 bills and the balls. We laughed loudly when our ping pong balls hit the girls' head every time. The INSOMIA disco/bar was packed with all sorts, farangs, Russians, Germans, Japanese, Asians, Thais, European girls, Thai puyings. On the way back, we were stopped twice by drunk farangs who said " Lady, you are one very, very beautiful girl " and " I wish my girlfriend can be as lovely as you are " and " I want to be your boyfriend " etc, etc. This can be a difficult situation as they were drunk. Just don't give a shit on what they said, talked cock with them, wished them all the best, that they enjoyed themselves, etc ,etc, waved goodbye and we left these starving creatures looking for sexy young puyings alone.

555+ I was also in Pattaya but I reached there on 26th and came home on Sunday. Probably the 10th time here liao. Last was during CNY in Feb. Yeah. the whole walking street was like a ghost town with all the agogo bars closed. The beer bars were opened but lights and music were turned off. Just to add to pattaya beer garden from what I read. They have a coaster system, red side means you just want to chill, green side means you are looking for someone. You can also order hello cocktail to the gal you want, 40 or 60 bahts. Some also mentioned there's a mamasan and barfine (200 bahts)

The small tepee ( hidden Heine ) under the counter, the glass with beer inside and with styrofoam "condom" wrapped around it. There were 2 brown men in the police pick up slowly cruising Walking Street at that time. Still drank the beer and talked rubbish with the chun beer girl.

Beer bars all over Pattaya but me not so interested in these bars, nor boyztown, nor activities on the beach, nor pick me ups on beach rd. Only interested in the agogos and the disco in this town.

BKK on 28th to 30th June, then, 1st to 3rd July in Pattaya.

Once a agg vet, always sama2. Last Pattaya sortie was sept 2008, tried to go to some zoukish club (outside city, close to Big C.. forget name liao) but too early and maybe sunday. Popped by Hard Rock Cafe nearby, not bad. Aiyah, with side dish no can do much. Oops, I still hit agg next door to Tim's Hotel and did ST upstairs (when she was sick and zzzz in hotel 1 stealth night!):p;)

Pity our dates crossed end June, now working on northern project Lampang (100km from Chiangmai). Did virgin run last Vesak weekend. Kns, dilemma (headache) how to juggle with krungthep. Cheers, enjoy:cool:

The first time I went to pattaya, I didnt even know what a sangtow is! And by then , I've already been to Phuket , Bangkok , Samui , Hadyai and Pitsunuluk!

I remember taking a bus from Bangkok's Ekamai Station (no Bell's Service in those days!) to a place everyone said was the wild wild west and stopped at the bus terminal. From there a baht bus to Central Pattaya and alighted at Soi 13. Stay next to a BJ bar with only a small padlock to protect myself against the world! What followed was more recce , 2 hotel changes and 6 drunks nites. How do you think a toursit like me found out it cost only 5B per trip on the bahtbus?

Back then , the 'in' place was Pattayaland 1,2 and 3. Walking street had not matured then and looked like Soi Cowboy. TQ1 was a great rock and roll bar to chill in the afternoon. Going in during the strong sunlight and coming out in another world of darkness! :D

BFs were 400B in agogos and 200B in beerbars LT cost 1kB for beerbar girls and 1500B for agogo girls. Stories that only dark skin girls there were all BS. I seem to have found my 2nd paradise after Nana years ago!

It is very difficult to say 'this is best' or 'that is best' The fucking pattaya bar scene is bigger than Clementi with not only new bars but NEW BAR AREAS springing up every few months. An example is the bars on 2nd road opposite Central. Cheap beers with some good looking girls but the place is deserted coz everyone is rushing to WS paying stupid prices. Many more places like these but I'll leave you to find out for yourself. :)

I started my "virgin" trip last year Dec alone but rest assured.. I was cheonging happily over there such that I have to make my return trip in this year Mar.

Hmm.. my next prob comes liao.. be going to Bangkok in July. Can't decide to go Pattaya or stay in Bangkok. :confused:

Why not divide and spend your time at both places. You can then enjoy the MPs at Ratchada, Agogos at NEP and SCB and the gentlemen's club like The Sky in BKK then take bus to Pattaya enjoy another 2 nights over there.

Yeah..those memories were priceless. I remembered that I first travelled to Pattaya by Jetstar to U-tapao airport many years ago. BAck then, I stayed at the Apex Hotel, the beach was still quite clean...can see many papayas suntanning..Superbaby agogo was already there but the girls are not as fair and petite as the present ones.

thanks. I'm not worried really. I just enjoy the process of getting prepared :) If I really need company around the place, I believe it's really easy to find a bar where I stay, find a nice chatty gal who can speak some english, BF+LT and bring me around. It'll be almost same price as having a personal tourguide, except you get to do her;)

like what you mentioned the "don't know where to start", trying to get prepared for that really. 3D/2N very short, must shortlist the Soi I want to try visit. May even want to try fishing, but that'll be impossible.

IMHO, I suggest Patts, as you don't know if the red shirts will do another round of damage in July. They have the whole Jun to prepare for anything they may want.

That'll be the time I'm in Pattaya:( Just hope they stayed in BBK and don't touch airport. But based of previous incidents, they'll normally take a week to escalate. Hopefully by then I'll be safely back in SG.

Hey man if you don't like bar girls, don't come to Pattaya as more than half of the people you see are into sex business, I might sound a bit harsh but it is fact, Pattaya has become a sex haven for anyone with the money to throw.

These 2 disco are mostly locals, you will be wasting your time cos you have no time to sian. In fact Singapore disco are more easy for 1 night stand, don't know why you think thai discos are easy to sian.

If u really like discos, I would suggest discos with more freelancers like walking street disco, Lucifer, or late birds after 2am will be Insomnia and mixx where Insomnia is like a 99% sure thing. Bring ID. This is the disco with all FL, bar and agogo girls go after bars close, so instead of going bar hoping, you will get most of them here especially after 3am. No bar fine, just pay 1000 for LT, again some will ask 1500, negotiate before u take them, and watch out for your valuables when u bring them back your hotel.

Your sure bet is agogo, becasue what u see is what u get, especially u r on short holiday. Iron, Silver, Airport and Cas... forgot the spelling, these are super hot with naked dancers, good for health as one a day from these aggos make your sorrows away. Cheers!

Hi Soopafly, can't confirm as I may go China as the chang ping seems too alluring. Been eating Tom Yam chicken for many years, even though still delicious, but want to try something else.

Pattaya is totally suitable for lone ranger, no need kaki unless you want to go thai disco, and Pattaya is much safer as there is no cut throat price like Bkk. Avoid thai karaok and the discos for youngsters as these can turn voilence sometimes, and it is not like Singapore just some bruises, but bullets in your head and you are done.

There is another forum saying about a farang with his thai girlfriend in a thai disco, and there were arguments with some youngsters inside the disco, those youngster went out and waited for the farang and shot him dead when he came out. Anyway too many shootings in thailand. Golden rule of thumb, don't argue with tuktuk or thais, don't hit your girl, avoid karaok for thais and discos for thai youngsters.

Gogo girls are more expensive but are slightly safer as they go for blood check once a while, and quality assured, u get what u see, unlike discos as the light quite dim, when u bring her out you will get a shock, and when her bra is taken out you will get another shock, and when the pants is down, u may get heart attack as she is also a he and her didi is bigger than yours, so too many surprises and your didi no more mood, well good for the adventurous though.

Missed out on your previous post, I went to Insomnia quite a few times and everytime I was asked to show Id to prove that I am not a thai, they never check you meh? Are u ang moh or indian:D, as this disco do not allow thai man to go in, and most asian especially darker skin type look like thai.

Well, as for the bar beer scene, is good if you want to chit chat and kill time with the lady, I find that most bar girls have sagging breasts and have baby before, so I only hit the agogo with firm breasts, and the disco once in a while for surprises.

Been to Differ a few times, to what I think, from my humble opinion, (not trying to advice all Veterans here) has the most chio working class in Pattaya, they drive in with cars, sometimes BMW and merc, and over the weekends, some bkk people will come here.
