Wow, the best answer is right in your own lobby! I would start with BATS bar, right in your own hotel. Any night will have ladies, but Weds-Sat have most density. Entry should be free if you are staying in same hotel. Personally the ayams there tend to be more like hens rather than farm fresh chickens, but worth looking since you are right there.

If cannot find anything suitable, then try CJs (in Hotel Mulia), and Tiga Pulu (Le Meridien). Other than that relatively close, you need to try normal clubs which have 10-20% 'easy girls' (undercover FL) looking for some side money. Not easy to spot, so best just approach as standard pickup.

My rather extensive circle of "American style spenders/tippers" (who are Americans) regularly go to the Pangeran Jayakarta bars such as Sari Ayu, LA Bar, and Royal Massage (where sessions cost less than 400,000 rupiah), sometimes King Cross (gravitating to the cheaper first floor), and to splurge maybe Malioboro (I myself prefer the places where the charges are less than 400,000 rupiah per session). Some even boycott Malioboro because of the entrance fee, even though that fee entitles one to use the various spa facilities and I believe is waived if one has a session with a girl there.

For these American style tippers tips at the Pangeran Jayakarta bars average around 100,000 rupiah (a few years ago 50,000), and maybe a bit more for King Cross and Malioboro. I might sometimes tip 150,000 if a girl lets me take a lot of pictures and occasionally 200,000 if I get video, including during sex. I also need decent service to justify any tip. Then again, I usually tip the guys who clean up the rooms 10,000 rupiah (one Singaporean dollar or about 75 cents US); maybe you object to this as excessive?

OTOH, some regularly complain, both privately and on some non-Asian forums, about men from certain Asian countries overtipping, not requiring decent service, and patronizing places that keep raising prices, particularly in Bangkok. So maybe some perspective is in order.

Although I believe that bar is still open, I don't think girls go there anymore, so it's basically dead (similar to the disco at LE Meridien which used to be the number one free lance spot in Jakarta but is now dead). Back then, the Aryaduta Tavern, Hard Rock Cafe at Sarinah (now replaced in Sarinah by a worthless restaurant, and the Hard Rock moved to Pacific Place now and became a family restaurant rather than a wild pick up spot), Green Pub (Amigos restaurant) at Sarinah (now a Pizza Hut), Tanamur disco (now closed) and JJ's disco (now closed) were some of the absolute hot spots in town. Now, not one of those places is still a hot spot. And they were NOT replaced around town by other places with free lancers, so the free lance scene is basically crap these days. Uber/grab works perfectly fine in Jakarta, sometimes they might call you to reconfirm your location. if you can't speak bahasa indo, just text them in-app or use as simple english as possible. It's much cheaper compared to taking normal taxis. However, I've never tried uber/grab after midnight so I'm not sure how easy/difficult it will be.

blok M is south... classic, travel, alexis, malio etc is all in central/north. First timer prolly easier to just stay around harmoni (ibis,yello,etc) as there's many action nearby.

Your question is posed incorrectly and almost impossible to answer. Sortof like asking for a hotel near SG and KL and also Medan??? When u say nightlife...u mean 'clean' or dirty nightlife?

My suggest you use google maps, and drop a Pin each place of interest. Then you can see the places you need to go and pick a convenient location. Golf courses are in Kemayoran and Senayan. Massage and 'dirty' nightlife in North Jakarta. normal clubs and high-class nightlife in South Jakarta. There is no perfect solution, your hotel will be some sort of compromise. Better to choose a hotel near your daytime activities as there will be traffic jam everywhere until 9pm.

If you just wanna Golf Kemayoran and play dirty massage/nightlife, you could stay in Manga Dua area, as it is close to the golf course and North Jakarta massage places. Tons of hotels there, Orchards and even in the mall. However it is very far to Senayan and south high-class Jakarta nightlife.

To add on... personally i think kemayoran golf course is abit run down, senayan golf course is much better but more expensive. Actually you can stay in north, and go golf in south... early morning traffic usually will be pretty smooth (about 30mins?)

Or if you have time to spare, go bogor for golf (about an hour's drive in the morning) but coming back might take up to 2hrs in the afternoon.

So after a long hiatus, I decided to BATS on Weds as something different to CJs Lady Night. Saw many Bule and my Brown bros there, so this is a place that clearly does not discriminate against deplorables unlike Classic or most places in North Jakarta meant for locals.
