My first time in Jakarta here. I'm little disappointed by the quality of girls at popular places like Malioboro and Alexis. These places are out to suck your Rupiah and the working girls' look maybe 3 or 5/10 but damn expensive(1-2 millions rupiah) :confused:. The dancers are much better looking but they are not up for sales. Went home to pcc instead :(

I think it's just a matter of bad timing, from my various visits to malio, it's always mixed reviews.. sometimes good, sometimes bad. Alexis overall has more consistent cargo quality but then I've encountered bad days there as well. It's probably the same everywhere else.. and most of the time, I think dancers are available for ST, just matter of price.

Same dancer, but different times and sections of the venue? Seems entirely plausible. 1.2jt for hot dancer I would have taken it. Or you could negotiate privately with dancer, cut out the club...

Every time i've asked about FJ (not just BJ) they were pretty consistent about the additional 20 LD (1.3Jt) charge you have to buy. I've talked to the Mami and waiters in Bahasa as well. It seems like you need to pay the 20LD just to pull the girl off the floor and open a room upstairs. Of course, if anyone has any direct experience of ST with a Malio dancer upstairs please let me know. Some dancers can negotiate direct after their shift, but many of them live together with "manager" in a dorm so cannot go out privately :(

Agree, but i think the mixed reviews extend to any place in JKT (Classic, 1001, Emporium, BFashion, CJs, BATs), as the inventory and availability of gals change on a daily basis. Its just a matter of luck, and having a positive attitude that helps you enjoy any setting. If nothing is there to your liking, just finish your drink and head onto the next place to find something you like. The great thing about JKT is there are so many options, you'll never run out of places to hunt for gems.

When people here generalize between Alexis and Malio, should clarify between Alexis Bathhouse (7th floor), Alexis 4Play Club, Malioboro Lounge (3rd floor) and Malio Club (Ground floor), as each have different party styles and girl quality IMO. If you just want straight ST, Alexis Bathhouse > Malio Lounge for girl quality. However, if you want sexy dancers/drinking/club environment, Malio Club > 4Play for sexy girls. This is my general opinion of course.

If normal times, success rate wouldn't be too high (rate will only go up during ramadan as many are out to cari makan), but depending on the following factors:

- how strict is the spa
- how's the rapport between you and the therapist (long time regular?)
- how desperate the therapist is

As I was told, certain spas can be pretty strict when it comes to therapist having full service inside the spa and the punishment can be pretty harsh so not many are willing to risk it. Normally if they really like you (or your money), they will ask to deal outside of the spa. It's pretty much same for some of the hotels in Jakarta, hotel staffs if caught providing extra services will be sacked immediately.

In any case, there's no fair amount ... all up to you and the therapist. If you think she's just normal, then 300k-500k is more than enough. if it's really good, 800k-1M is fine as well. More importantly, just nego direct with her, at least the final amount would be something acceptable for her and for you.

Depends on the type of Spa. Obviously for FJ type spa's (Alexis, Emporium, etc..) it's garunteed and included.

For massage++ type spas, it usually can be negotiated for most therapists, but not all. For the low end massage++ spa, FS will be an additional 300-500k tip, and for the high end ones, it would typically cost 800k-1Jt tip. Again, everything depends on the therapist and you may have to pay more or less depending on your chemistry. If you want to try this, i recommend you bring your own Caps, as some therapists may not have.

Not too sure about novotel lounge, but you're basically in the "heart" of the cheong scene in jkt... nearby there's suncity, sense, club 36, crown, and also alexis, 1001, malio, illigals, emporivm etc. By taxi to any of the above mentioned shouldn't cost you more than rp 30k in taxi fare.

Went to both emporium tease club and malio club recently... Here's my review on both of them

Tease club - a small and cozy club with nice sound system blasting through the club. I went there pretty early as 9pm, crowd and dancer will start action around 9:30 to 10pm, best time to go 10pm I feel. Dancer roughly around 25 of them, each group have their own set of uniform or dressing, and dance at different time frame. I would give the dancer perhaps 7-8.5 out of 10 depending who you choose. I was lucky to have a dancer pretty nice a lot of GBE with me and some action haha. Rating wise as a whole 8/10. Ladies drink cost 50k RP each, dancer rates for hj bj full service, you need to ask them or manager. Oh ya, the club also have freelancer to hook you up. They not that good as compared to the dancer maybe 6-7 out of 10 rating Well for same price of ladies drink, it will better to have dancer as companion instead of freelance. I like the dancer in this club as their moves are sexier and wilder. One of the dancer making kinky moves on the pole bar, currently period of ramandan, no nudes or stripping tease. The ambience is nice and dark not too bright, which I kinda of like haha want to be more secretive. Overall I was there to have drinks and enjoy the companion with the dancer there. I was approached by 2 dancer, one of them look like Indo Chinese rating 7.5 / 10 and another is 8.5 rating. Haha I prefer the local because she had kinda of seductive looks and nice boobs of coz which I like. Well ladies drink 65k RP each and for your own personal drink I choose been roughly 80k RP for beer. Oh ya forget to mention tease club for your personal drink is 100k RP and I think is better because you can choose from corona to whiskey cola. For action wise only the local dancer give me some actions though, haha and she keep pushing for bj or full services. And you right bro lost99, if quoted full service it will be ranging 1.8m plus 20ladies drink. That was my initially quoted from her, and times goes deeper she reduce and reduce to 5 haha and finally say 1.5m no additional ladies drink to be added. Mangga Besar is very ghetto (Geylang fails in comparison) so those fussy types better avoid staying here.
If I've company expense account I sure stay at Hotel Grand Mercure (Jl. Hayam Wuruk) and whack company credit card at Malioboro Spa/Club and Sun City KTV every night. :rolleyes:

Manga Besar can be convenient, but a little too ghetto for me. Lokassari is a good place though to watch ceweks and pick them up. I picked up a few gals who worked at Travel/Classic there shopping in daytime before there shift.

Pasar Baru a little more calm, have a food street on JL.Pecegnongan, can walk to Classic or Emporium, and some good budget hotels there (Fave, G7). Even classic hotel is around 500k but cannot book online.

Gajah mada can just walk home after a night in Malio

There is no perfect location in JKT however, and you just need to choose a place best for your needs. Wherever you stay still require lots of taxis or ojeks.

The one you're staying is Hotel 88 Mangga Besar VIII (S$36.00/Night) which is opposite of Hotel Travel.
F*ck shop right at your door step! :D

Best part is it comes with breakfast.
Many hotels in this price range do not include breakfast.

For one of the Farm houses, the price seems pretty good considering a taxi brought you there. Last time i visited the farm house, price was 1Jt LT and 500k ST, and if a taxi brings you there the cost is notably more. Maybe you got a discount because you arrived late and low stocks. My last trip ordered a few items after getting hungry from a few drinks. The Ikan Goreng I had was surprisingly good, and Nasi goreng was....Nasi Goreng. Otherwise, food is generally average.

Some days (i can't remember days and times) they have all you can eat mini-buffet near the pool tables, with 6 hot selections, for 50,000rupiah I think. Having worked through the weekend, I postponed my departure by a day for a day of R&R.

Went through another door & hello….. where’s the spa??? Unlike Classic where you enter into a locker room & spa facilities, here you entered a lounge-like environment. There's quite a few choices for you... alexis, 1001, malioboro, emporivm, illigals, suncity, orchardz, classic etc etc. These are much nearer to you as compared to fortune. I think cheapest would probably be classic n orchardz. all of them has got full svc option but the massage wont be that proper as of delta/myplace. If you do not mind, maybe you can check out orchardz jayakarta or orchardz industri... go there n ask for their pink lady. If you do not take their paket, i think massage itself would be 280k.. and then if you want full svc their standard rate there shld be about 300~350k tips. Or take one of their paket (butterfly,icesmoothie, etc) at about 750k which is all inclusive.

Bros, I plan to go to jkt 7th to 10th July. I understand that this is Lebaran. Just wondering if Alexis and Malio will be open during this time period?

4th-8th july would be holiday in Indonesia, I believe Alexis/Malio will probably be closed on 6th-8th. If possible, I would suggest you postpone your trip by 1 week at least... otherwise Jkt would probably be a ghost town during that period. Safest bet would be to avoid +/- 5 days from lebaran.

Besides the usual Alexis, Malio, etc etc, the best thing about Jakarta are the girls. You can definitely pick up girls from anywhere.

I usually start from my own hotel. Stay in Jalan Sudirman area. In the day I usually zone in for the OLs on lunch breaks. Not the super 'atas' kind but normal GND. For some reason I find the girls on smoke breaks the easiest target. Nobody is that good in reality, only in their own mind. Maybe the 99% is minus all the rejections lol... in that case i am 100% :) if you believe that, i have an investment opportunity for you to make 500% profit :)

The imports work there "legally". Many parties take part of the charges. The overseas agent, the local agent plus the establishment and the lady. So the imports will not be able to deal directly.

More important, the imports will not be able to find the way from the establishment to the hotel and from hotel back to apartment. (Unless you book a Silver Bird) and wait for the lady to bring her both ways!!! Dont think about. It wont happen

In reality, it is usually not possible to arrange to meet a Malio/Alexis/1001/Emporium/Classic girl privately after her shift, or ask her to meet you on day off.

90-95% of these girls are from villages, and their families owe debts and have contract with the company. They work almost 7 days a week (except when period) and do not have any social life outside of work, and live in the same Dormitory with the other girls. If they are missing they get in serious trouble, and some girls may rat other girls out if missing. They live with a "manager" and are under strict company control. It is seriously a waste of time trying to get one of these girls to come out - just ask if they live in a "mess" (dorm) and if yes, don't bother. If you want her you'll have to step up and pay the 3-5 Juta Dabao fee to the company, no other way.

The 5-10% that can book privately, are sideliners, who do not owe the company money. They usually come from more middle class background, or are typically older (pushing 30s) as they have worked long enough to pay off debts. These girls can come to work as they please, and can make arrangements with you after their shift or day off. These girls are rare, but if you look long enough, you will find a few (I have).

As for imports, they are ALWAYS under strict company control, and cannot go out on their own, except when they have a period. They all stay in the same apartment together, and have a "manager" who stays with them and looks out for them. you're welcome. Personally I prefer to stay around thamrin for comfort/luxury. Pullman is the next best choice in terms of price compared to hyatt/kempinski etc. Their grand deluxe room in the new wing is probably 30-40% cheaper and not to mention they have got very good breakfast spread. At night from kota it takes at most 15mins to come back to hotel. Have fun~
