they have already top the group so the match is of no significant. would be more than happy to see the youngsters like borini, bruma or kakuta to start; albeit to gain some experiences.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

an early counter-attack by APOEL FC and resulted in an early lead for them in the 6th minutes.
Chelsea equalised thru Essien in the 19th minutes.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Every time after a good run of results, Terry the big mouth will splutter big words about Chelsea etc....and the next thing, they come tumbling back to planet earth.

Why can't they just go around their business like the Mourinho days, win 1-0 each time and diam diam?

Carvalho is no longer the Carvalho of the Mourinho era, and Terry is still the slowest centre back in Europe. I'd prefer to pair Alex with Ivanovic in the centre; Bosingwa and Ashley wide.

Mikel is a back pass specialist, and Deco is good at passing the ball to opponents. Ballack, I don't know when he plays for Germany he is damn bloody good, but when he wears Chelsea's shirt it's like playing part-time football.

I missed Robben and Duff.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Chelsea stepped on a banana skin again, this time @ home against Everton.

I beg Terry to walk the talk, and stop making worthless remarks. Let your feet do the talking, John Terry.

Maybe it's time to rest Cech. I hope Turnbull can step into Cech's shoes as soon as possible.

as a collective unit, i feel the whole team shares the blame. comical goals scored was really suicidal.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

this season,it will be between you and Man Utd.
but the 3rd and 4th placing is the most competitive.
i believe if you can coup with missing those Africa's players, when they are away for the Africa Nation Cup/Championship,then you will be the winner at end of May.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Sometimes I wonder what Chelsea players are doing. Man Utd lost their most influential player and top scorer, aka Ronaldo. Yet they're still chasing honours like they never missed anything. Oh, and they lost Tevez as well.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Watching a live Chelsea game really puts me on the edge; alternating between agonies, more agonies, and even more agonies

I think we Chelsea fans are used to our beloved team winning games and cannot accept draws or the unforgivable sin (losses) as a result.

I send my wife and kid to the bedroom when there is a Chelsea match; don't want them to see the dark side of me

For goodness sake, instead of breaking the bank to get a new striker, midfielder or defender, it's high time to get a new keeper.
Sell Cech while he still have some credibility and value.
I know 'Arry or ARSEne would love to buy him

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

I agree with you. Chelsea bought Chelsea for 7 million pounds; I believe they can get at least 15 million pounds from sale of Cech. Rumours have it that they're looking at Robert Green, which is not a bad option.

And true enough, Alex has been solid in defence. The slowest centre back in the world, namely Mr. Terry, should not be playing every game. Ivanovic is getting better every match.

Borini should start games more often. While Kakuta reminds me of Robinho.

Also, our back pass specialist, MR Mikel, should be put up for sale too.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Not wanting this to be a ding-dong affair between the two of us.

I thought Alex was simply marvellous when Carvalho was injured. Both will fight tooth and nail for the ball but given Alex's younger age, i.e. faster pace, my vote got to go to him too.

Our back-pass specialist, if you remember, was a rock when the Bison was injured. When Essien has recovered and breathing down his neck, the rock just crumbled to pieces. A case of insecurity?

Well, we must give some credit to the so-called Mr Chelsea. Actually I wished that MANUre better half was successful in buying him in the close season. Since he's still here, he can still be of use. He's a good reader of the game; the only problem is his speed. Why not push him up to take over the holding midfield role?

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

A good week for the Londoners.
Fulham did us a huge favour.
Hairy Arse, oops, Harry Redknapp and Arsene Wenger, also got wins for their teams.

Still, one London team got to lose tonight; and we all know it's not going to be the Blue side of London.
By the way, I'm out of moderation

Fulham did us a huge favour, indeed. Unfortunately we wasted the opportunity by not claiming the maximum points against West Ham. Man Utd seldom drop points, so it's a sheer waste not to have gone 6 points clear.

West Ham got their point by playing a physical game.
I miss the Chelsea of years gone by where we ourselves were a physical team.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

this would be the true litmus test against the team's depth in the coming weeks. how long can we hold on to our lead? african players out, anelka injury. leaving sturridge and borini on the frontline. go go go!
