That pisses botak off.
Great injustice the club also fails to give DDG some kind of farewell ceremony. Just kick him out like that.
This is how they treat a 11 year veteran who had been keeping goal for the team over the years.

For a while, I thought without Rashford/Garnacho, the pussies is doomed for a loss, but didn't expect Amad to be the saviour.
He also got a header earlier on, but was pushed out by Ederson.
I hope Amorim will treasure Amad. I mean usually players reach the 80th minute mark, pan cek already. But not Amad.
He just got energised more as the match draws to a close.
He wanted to win....so badly.
He showed composure and speed to intercept the mistake back pass by Matheus Nunes. Then he knows some bungling City player, also Nunes, will come charging at him in the box. Smart! Penalty!
2nd goal, cool composure...and that acute angle shot!
Simply world class.
(I still remember that goal he scored against Liverpool last season in the FA Cup QF). Shows he really got it!)

The final post match scenes saw him showing the Manchester badge to the camera. He shows he is proud to play for the club. He got Red Devils blood in him.
I say the club should give him a 5 year contract NOW !

Fark Trashford, the club have no need for you.

I know there is still some way before the pussies can challenge for UCL spot,
but a win over city rivals is always a joyous occasion!

Glory Glory, Man United!

P.S. A tad disappointed I seemed to be the only one watching the match.
Probably no one thinks the pussies stand a chance.
Seems like all that u said r true....that's mean u tan tiok lor or shd I say we tan tiok lor...I watched up to 1st half then when they kena one goal I sian already wanted to go n koon but somehow I stayed on to watch the 2nd half hoping RA can do something to make them win...n can't believe at the last minute Amad scored the winner...he is the best player of the team now...He n Capt Bruno r the only 2 red devils in the team but not the rest...can't create chances or score...I also never expected them to win...such a great surprise !...tot they sure gone case

Well said bro...agree with u better to give the no. 7 shirt to Amad to wear as he is the next CR7 instead of wasting the no. on this always-get-injured guy...if Amad plays against Spurs in their next match, good chances of beating them tgt with Bruno n the same team if they play in the same spirit like against their neighbours in blue...but why u say they can only draw leh ??...Spurs r a beatable team, can even beat Pool or Chelsea too if they want

i'm guessing that amorim will rotate heavily for the EFL fixture vs spurs, meaning those who played the full 90mins at city may be rested vs spurs, but fernandes dalot may still start vs spurs. w/o amad and ugarte, man u are overall weaker, so likely will lose, at best a draw

if man u does get knocked out of the EFL competition, there are less mid-week fixtures to play and amorim can have more time on the training ground to work with the squad (positive spin glass half full)

Well, apart from both of them, there are 3 which I think should be sure starters.

Ugarte - he was used sparingly under botak, but now reuniting with his former boss Amorim, he is starting to his brilliant best. Against City, he cut off City's midfield supply to Haaland. Pickpocket and cut off the City's attack numerous times. No nonsense high work rate midfield beast who goes about doing what was required. In a way he helped Martinez, who have a good game behind him.

Mazraoui - RCB, RWB no problem. Another no nonsense player with no flashy stunts. And who can forget that mazy dribble and assist to Hojlund against Bodo/Glimt? He started almost every match since signing from Bayern. Hardly put a foot wrong. Best bargain buy of the season.

Maguire - ok....I know he got a bad/hilarious history, everyone laughed and call him names. Stripped of captaincy in July 2023, he had actually preferred to stay on and fight for his place. Since then, he had been a reliable CB, even coming on a a sub.
Bro ILPH got it right, he somehow fit in as the CCB under Amorim's 3 CB system. Lack of speed but if ably supported by 2 other CBs, he can be the main cog in defense.

I just read somewhere that RA said he also wants to win the Carabao Cup leh...so he cannot afford to rest Bruno, Amad, Ugarte n Mazraoui if he wants to win the cup

Silverware is expected. Moreover, botak won this Cup in his first season, so Amorim will not want to look second best.
The game against Spurs is already QFinals. High stakes involved.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Has been a good week for Man Utd.
Though I view the 3 points earned as more significant than a win over our old rivals.
Even more significant was leaving out Rashford and Garnacho.
Rumours are swirling fast and furious about Rashford's exit, but it seems RA is being diplomatic and leaving a door open by saying that he wants to help Rashford return to his best.
But I think Rashford is not going to go MaGuire mode and fight for his place, Rashford saying he is ready for a new challenge speaks to his high opinion of himself.
He isn't even ready to do run backs and help his own team defend, much less for new challenge.
At this point, I am for him leaving.
For £325000/week, I expect him to do a RvN or CR7, and he don't look like it, not by a long shot.

Why and what was the face Fernandes was doing when he scored the penalty ?
When Højlund equalised against Viktoria Plzeň, he did not celebrate but went for the ball to bring back to midfield for restart.
His intensity, determination and desire is exactly what Man Utd need.

Garnacho - Will he bounce back and add a new dimension to his game or be sulking again ?
Up to him to choose to be Rashford the 2nd, or be the 2nd Giggs.
Hope he does not waste his potential.

Since Amorim started at Man Utd, I think what he wants to do each match was to first build the team, results are nice but not as important as the building.
I think his aim is build the team first, have a team spirit, when that is done, the results will come.

Ugarte, Mazraoui and Amad are leading very well by example.
We need more of them.
Pity about Mount getting injured again, I wish I could say he is a glass cannon, but really just more like glass for now.

Overall, we are starting to look quite good.
There will be more unexpected defeats incoming, but I expect it will be at least matches Man Utd will play to the final whistle and show the fighting spirit and desire.

We, Man Utd, have hope.

mazraoui has a knock and might not play, amorim likely to rotate the squad and give minutes to those players returning from injury, fernandes dalot mainoo to sub off around 60mins as this sun PL match vs bournemouth

Spurs v Man U EFL Cup QFinals. 4am!!

Amorim will really need to decide if he wants to give up. The stakes are pretty high. He might end up with nothing in his first season if he gives this one up.
Also will look bad since botak won this before.

Rashford didn't travel with the team. But Garnacho is in.
So, likely Amorim had decided Rashford future.
Good for both parties I guess.

Hope to see you guys at the Spurs Stadium!

so it looks like Spurs will win in the last match tonight between them n the red pussies cos Spurs are the pundits' favourite to win unless RA n Amad can cum up with some magic like they did in the last match against the champions Citeh, a match which most pundits say their neighbours in blue will win...I believe they can do it provided RA and all his players give their best cos Spurs defence are not that good ..just don't play with that ai mai ai mai attitude that they always play with during the baldy's days esp n that they r famous for

Good for both parties I guess.

Hope to see you guys at the Spurs Stadium!
If RA really wants to give up he shd say so earlier n declare to the English FA n withdraw his team from the competition rather than to suffer the humiliation of a loss, while at the same time they can give other teams who r more keen to win the cup a chance to play n win the cup
