In the early days WHO refused to declare a pandemic and CDC said masks made things worse.

Respiratory diseases have not just descended upon us they have been around since time immemorial. Back in March all the "experts" were saying that masks make things worse based upon decades of experience.

Nothing has changed except the politics. Masks vs no masks has become a battle of left vs right and suddenly everyone has an opinion which they consider to be the gospel truth.

As for me I just look at the stats and none of them show that masks make any difference. Just go and look for yourself. Japan has had a mask mandate which they follow religiously but their numbers have soared too.
