Only confirm that it has re-opened. The PRs there are formerly from Windy Club at Liberty Hotel (this info is provided by a reliable and well connected source). Have yet to go down. If I do, I may post a review.

Let me contribute my story. Last December 2008, I had an appointment evening date with a Vietnamese female friend. She agreed to pick me up in District 1. I was waiting about 10 minutes for her. Newbie here greeting and saying hi to all the HCMC regulars. I have started reading the thread dated from mid of September 2008... that alone took me two solid weeks to complete (under wify radar) . Cheeros to all the great input!!

My first visit to HCM was about one year ago alone on business for a week. Staying at Windsor D'5 then. It was a total flat flop when it come to R&R. I will be flying over again, this time round for tentatively two weeks stay. Likely to stay in D'1 near to BT market bah.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on the do and don't and things that i should pay special attention to. Any further input will definitely helps me a great deal.

Any Bro here kind enough to point me in the direction of a place, plaza like Sim Lim where i can upgrade, buy or modify mobile phone for my GF.....

Bought a local set..... and would like to put Vietnamese software into it.... hehehe

Bro,

The User Interface (UI) software will be different for each Model/Make. The technician need to have the source-code to change the UI. Therefore, U must go back to the manufacturer to have it changed.

Bear in mind, not every phone will come with a Vietnamese Language software. So, when U mean Local set and without Vietnamese language, I think you will have a problem.
