Agree (enough for duration of the stay) ,also they are required to show return ticket and asked where or who they are staying with.

Haha, ya its the VISA in passport not credit/debit card.

Anyway, if Thai come Sg too often less than a month may need VISA, what about Sg go Thai often?

It should be not more than 90days within 6 months travelling to Thailand. This is an implementing new law in Thailand not long ago.There is a thread pertaining to this subject. You can search for it.
