Need some advises here.

Been planning a trip down to Bangkok somewhere this week to seek "fun". Heehee. Alone. Heehee.

I done research on the internet and seems like Bangkok "Geylang" is the Patpong, Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza....... Correct me if I am wrong.

So are they near each other ? Which of the 3 locations is the best ?
Also how much is the market rate for girls ? Don't want to be Robert as I am consider a "tourist"

And any recommendations of hotels near these places ? Or one which can easily access to these 3 ? Budget for hotel don't have to be 5 star one. Something like our Strand Hotel or Hotel 81 enough liao.

I heard about this Poseidon thingy..... What is it and where is it located ? There fun ?

The clubs and pubs at Soi Cowboy and Patpong operate on lady drinks basis. The girls will usually be just hanging around if they are not with any guy, so whichever girl you're interested just start chatting to them or ask the waitress/waiter to invite the girl to join you. If you and the girl hit it off, you can pop the golden question and if the girl (90% will) agrees, pay the bar fine usually a couple hundred bht to buy the girl's time out of the pub and tp her back. Well, the 'lady's drink' system is basically available anywhere. It is usually double the price of your drink. Eg. Your Beer Singha: 100THB, her's will be 200BHT. And if any ago-go dancer catch your attention, you can ask the waiter/waitress to ask her down for the bar top for a drink with you. MOST of them have a number tag on them. If not, you can describe to the waitress or signal to them DISCREETLY. If you've decided that she's the one & you wish to proceed with a night firing range with her, you are required to pay the bar a 'barfine'. This is the penalty for bringing their girl out, decreasing their manpower by 1. The barfine usually works out to 500THB. They will usually bring to a short-time hotel upstairs or nearby and the rates varies from 300-500THB. This usually excludes condom. If you need them, you will have to pay for it. I'm not sure of the price because I usually buy my own from their 7-11 or Watsons. The charges for ST is like what our fellow Bro has described earlier but I discovered that charges are higher over at Patpong. Eg. Gals @ King's Camelot or King's 2 are charging 2000THB for ST. Perhaps there's too many farangs there, potential carrotheads... For LT, usually the price is doubled. Of course, for ST & LT, price can be negotiated... They wouldn't want to dance for the whole night without being picked up! My advise is before you confirm the girl for LT, try her for ST first. If she's good, you can easily extend the period or get her the next night. If she's no good, you can just pay her for ST, without getting into any arguments or whatsoever... Just my 2 cents! Hi I am back after 3 nights from Bangkok to share my experiences/costs with any newbies who wants to go there alone too like me.

Preparation :

Do a research and see which places or what kind of fun you are looking for. Most popular are these 3 places : Sukumvit, Patpong and Soi Cowboy. I settled for Sukumvit.
Book tickets and hotels via www.tigerairways.com and www.asiatravel.com (http://www.asiatravel.com/thailand/prepaidhotels/royalasialodge/index.html).
Air tickets are SGD$106 (Depart) and 2470 baht (SGD$105) Arrival. I wanted to choose Majestic or Swiss Hotel but fully booked. So finally settled into Royal Asia Lodge (located at Sukumvit and near Nana Entertainment) for 3 nights for 3750 baht (SGD$159). Also change SGD$751 in Singapore to 17500 baht. Should be more than enough to chiong 3 nights.

The Arrival :
Took a 2 hours flight to the new Airport.... Wow.... So much bigger than our Changi one. Took a cab to my hotel about 300 baht and 50 baht airport surcharge. The traffic jam over there is so terrible !! Took me 1 hour to reach which usually will take about 30mins. Ok, reached the hotel, checked in to my room, well.... can say about the size of our Strand Hotels room with a bathtub too. Unpack everything and proceed to walk around the place. My hotel is at Soi 8 (Lorong 8) so I figured Nana Entertainment (Soi 4) should be quite near.

The Hunting Begins :

Finally located the place and walked around. A lot of pubs..... and whole tons of girls. After walking the whole stretch which took me about more than one hour, I entered Nana again and wanted to book one girl from Rainbow 4. But then she like quite flat chested so I go see see look look somemore. Finally settled down with a sweet looking girl outside this.... errr... the first pub on the left after the staircase up..... (starts with P one.... Can some bro help me on this ?). She brought me inside and there's a podium in the bar filled with girls in bikini dancing around the poles. At first I thought this girl was a waitress but she said she work outside instead of inside the pub.... She asked me which girl I want and I pointed to her. "How much for long time?" I asked. The Second Day :

But make no difference to me. Girls usually around 1500 baht to 2000 baht.

Ok, so that's all folks. The internet service there usually is 1 baht per minute. 30 minutes of usage = 30 baht. Food generall cost between 100 baht to 300 baht. Taxi to everywhere average about 80 baht. There are tons of taxis too. Sure can get one immediately when you want it, unlike in singapore. Bar Fine I read should be 500 baht instead of 600. But make no difference to me. Girls usually around 1500 baht to 2000 baht.

Sukhumvit internet normally costs higher. U can get cheaper ones ard 15baht per hour elsewhere. :)

Barfines differs at different venues. BF at our famous junnie's haunt like Nana will set u back for 600baht for the Rainbow Group and other better bars.

Well, to be honest..I have been to several countries for work and quite experience with other areas but not really familiar with BKK scene despite going there for a few times. I will be hitting the Land of Smiles with 2 great cheonging brudders of mine from 7 ~ 12 December to party and enjoy. I was hoping some of the veteran brudders here who's regular or based in BKK can shed some light or meet up for a couple of chilled booze to enlighten Stoney.

The last time I was in BKK was during July for a business trip. As I"m more a party goer than a straight commercial sex person, he was really kind enough to bring me to take a look at SKyy Disco, Santhika & RCA area.

It was indeed fabulous and eye-opener for me to make comparison btw the party scenes in Lan Kwai Fong, Seoul or even other areas that I used to go. I loved the clubbing scene in BKK which I admit it was filled with lots of extremely fun-filled and gorgeous people!! I was hoping I can see some other areas as well comparable to Santhika or RCA types of concept but I certainly do not mind places like Skyy or Hollywood. Any brothers here have any good suggestion or would like to meet up for some chilled booze or who happened to be there at the same time as well with me? Btw, I"ll be staying in Bangkok City hotel (Booked by my local friend who claimed to be a new established hotel or something as I'm not quite sure as well. I think you mean you're staying at P.Princess next to MBK? You could walk around the block to Siam Square's Novotel and check out the club/disco CM2 in the basement.

If you can't speak decent Thai, it's a good place to start. In my experience, most girls have at least basic English skills. They're FLs and there's no barfine.

If you care about the music, I think the live band's pretty good as well.

Aircon guesthouse: Thai House Inn

Room rate: 700 baht per night per room. Air-con, hot shower. No b/f. No tv.
Location: Damn near Nana Ah Go Gos. It's just in front of the Amari Boulevard hotel. Can be a bit hard to find, but if u follow the map on the webpg, shld have no probs.

Plus pts:
1. No extra charge to bring your WL up to your room!
2. Very central location to cheong Nana or Cowboy. Walking distance to both.
3. Free internet at the lobby. Only got 1 pc though. So u may have to wait your turn.
4. Cheap laundry! 20B for T-shirt.
5. Can reserve room just by emailing them. No need credit card.

Minus pts:
1. Being so centrally located, u know u just have to chiong every night! I got a room facing the Amari, and always can feel the bass from the speakers outside somewhere. Not so good for a nice rest.
2. Room has a little stale smell at 1st, but your brain filters it off after 10s.
3. Rooms are quite old, and I saw 1 cockroach baby on my 1st night. :P
4. No privacy. The day manager with the "dirty old man look" openly asked how much was the WL I had the next morning. Even joked about the 2 condoms I used! Saying: "last night u enjoy? 2 condoms!" Singapore Crazy Horse cannot compare to Bangkok agogo bars. Drinks so expensive in Crazy Horse. The price is only half here in Bangkok. I drink orange juice only less than $5. If you like Crazy Horse, you will like Obsession in Nana too. It is just beside Rainbow 2. I am very popular there. :)

The behaviour in the bars at OT is quite tame compared to BKK. At Crazy Horse and others in OT they are out to sell but are relatively discrete about action in the bar. You may wan to stay around Sukhumvit next time when you are easily connected to by BTS Skytrain. Virtually most places like Patong, MBK or even the weekend market Chatuchak is easily reached by BTS. If need to go famous MP like Nataree, Emanuelle and Caesar, can change to MTR or MRT train at Sukhumvit BTS Station and alight at Hwey Kuan Station. For Poseidon, alight at Suttisan Station.

Hope I remembered the info correctly. If I have any mistakes, the Lao Jiao (Senior) Bros in this forum will correct the info.

My preferred hotel is Parazzo in Ratchada.

Came out about 1900, go bathroom and finish off about 2100 and have dinner. Go disco about 2230 till 0200. Friend will bring to underground type to carry on to drink till about 0500 or 0600. Lasted close to 2 weeks on this routine, with some changes for shopping.

Nightlife we started with Forte last time when is at Sukhumvit Soi 24. Now is at RCA side. Guess the more popular one now is Caribean. Not sure Orbit still around. These are all the bar top dancing with live band.

Have been to local pubs where there is no foreigner, including Chinese. I think the local pubs with live band is where you can enjoy and appreciate Thai culture and of course the ladies. Local pubs are the place where 'working' ladies go after work. Typically you can find karaoke gals, massage gals, bathroom gals, some rich man daughters, etc here. Of course there are glas that bring along Ang Mo. The easier one if you want to experiences is along Ratchada, Dance Fever and Hollywood. My preference is DF. There is one more behind Ratchada, Glass Home. You will more likely meet a lot of gals in these pubs as generally thai gals like to party more than guys. Is normal to see one guy or two with more than 5 gals. In these pubs or disco, you will get the chance to know them and maybe get lucky. My friend and I were invited once by 3 guys and four gals (all younger than us) to their house to drink after the disco closed at 0200. We carry on to drink (of course as foreigner, we pay for all the drink bought from 7-11 and food ordered from dun know where) till about 0500 where all the ppl start to go, leaving us with the gal (house owner) who seem drunk. We have threesome and trust me, the gal is not drunk at all. Set back is I have to see my friend naked body while we tag team against her.

For some who are there for biz, you will not have time for this. But if you 'biz' there frequently, then no harm trying. Thai glas are very very friendly. Most of them have been sheated by men and look out for those mad mad type who have scar on the wirst.

Anyway, have not been to BKK for a while. Targetting CHu Hai and Hai Nan Tao in CN. If you have the chance, go for water festival. You willl enjoy a difference experience when you go to the pubs for three days. will share later.

I once did book from another one next to Song Boon restaurant that look very old from outside, but do have some pretty and young one.
Subway not so good as most of them dun massage, just want HJ and FJ...
