What did your record your movie with? Digicam or? If it is digicam, you can transfer the movie to your PC via the usb cable they provide.
And if the file format is in mpeg or wmv, you can upload it to www.yousendit.com

Take notes brother.
Video Editing software take out alot of yr HHD space n eat out alot of it memory space. This causes the PC performance n slow it down.... ;)

Yo HappyHour
I believe you are using WINXP.. If so there is a FREE video editing software that come with it. It is call movie maker... Use that.. it allows you to transfer your video into the PC and do most of the basic editing. more than enough for novice like yourself...
remember to share your clips with me after you have save it in your PC hor...

I can do it for u. Or u can find someone using a Mac. connect ur camcorder to a digicam then to the mac and u can load direc to it for editing.
the easiet ways u can try is
1. get a web cam, which cost u around sgd 70 plus and play back the video on the tv, and point ur web cam towards the tv and record. lousy quality
2. or u can get a video capture card which will cost u around sgd 100 plug into ur pc, and use the video on jack and connect into the video capture card. the video capture card will come with the software for capture, but best is to get a software from the net called tvmpeg. good quality but u need to have a lightning fast pc
3. if u want i give my video capture card to u FOC..i m not longer using the capture card, but it is world war II video capture card, recommend u get a better one.

If you camcorder has a RCA type analog video out then you need a video capture card like WinTV or Snazzi. $100+
If it is the new mini dv type, then chances its a Firewire 1394 output type then u need a digital 1394 card enuf. this one cheap around $30 nia.
Once u get it digitize as AVI or mpeg , cutting to CDROM will need like Nero buring tools. If burn as mpeg1 then will be old VCD 1.0 format. All VCD players can play this format.
If convert to mpeg2, then will be SVCD format. This format only newer dvd/vcd players can play.

you may use window movie maker as long as you can connect your videocam to your pc via usb or firewire.
if you think u want more semi-pro software, try MainConcept MPEG Encoder
http://downloads.mainconcept.com/fdl.php?downloads.mainconcept.com+MPEGEncoder1.4.2 +mpegencoderv1.4.2.exe
just key any fake email n name and u will be able to download it.
its a trial version, watermark is added to processed video.

That's perfectly alright, I dun need any capture card.
I'm using Mac with Finalcut Pro for editing.
I only need him to bring his tape and camcorder will do and can turn it into good quality DVD.
