My company send all staffs to go health screening in three weeks time.

I need to know whether I should abstain from commercial sex before health screening?

Any bros who undergoes prostate ultrasound before, pls advise whether I should not engage in sexual activities before taking this test..

Got some news for you....NO ONE does prostate ultrasound routinely.. for any reason...so if the docs in SG do it...it is an unecessary test..and it reveals nothing that a proper "digital" exam (sticking your finger up the butt) reveals. About the only reason to do it would be if you have a HUGE prostate and cancer is suspected, and even then a biopsy would be done preferentially. PSA screening is now considered unecessary, as for prostate ultrasound, this is not a useful tool...if your company says it needs to be done, question it (I know in SG this is unheard of to question an employer)..but do it anyway.


Would you let them do a spinal tap on you if your employer wanted it...

Be positive. Health screening is an employee's benefit - to find out health status. For treatment, if required - not for sacking. Normal screening includes, physical (visual), health background (checklist), x-ray , ECG, urine / blood test (+ fasting) to check for cholesterol /diabetes etc (like NS check-up). Prostate checking may be included for older employees - not the norm !! Your company has been very responsible in providing the free health screening for all empoyees. Be thankful.

Checking/Tests for STDs/HIV will not be included !! Do not worry/think too much. Will not lose your job!!
