Got into a discussion today with friends and we had actually ended up with this question without any answer... so like to find out from our friendly samsters here to get the answer...
This lady had Herpes Type I and Type II ....so
1. if the lady had herpes on her mouth(Type I), no BJ is for sure. But can we fuck her??? \
2. or if the lady had herpes at her genital (Type II), no FJ is for sure. But can we let her BJ...

Hopefully can find the answer here asap from the samsters her to clear our doubts....THANKS Regards

85% of the population are infected with the Herpes type 1 virus.

Around 30% to 40% of the population are infected with the Herpes type 2 virus.

The virus can be transmitted even though no herpes sores are present by a process known as asymptotic shredding.

If you have sex, you will invariably come into contact with the herpes virus. However, since 85% of those infected never show any symptoms of the disease, they don't know that they are infected.

Hi Ecco6,

You missed out a very important element - condom. Pls use a condom, as what Sammyboy has suggested, some 85% are asymptomatic, you can never be sure who is infected and who is not....

Treat everyone as if they are infected with anything STIs, HIV/STD.

Yup... Herpes can be transmitted even in the absence of an outbreak. Go to http://www.herpes.com/Transmission.shtml for more info.

:

Can Herpes Be Transmitted Without Symptoms?

Yes! Sometimes those who know they are infected spread the virus between outbreaks, when no signs or symptoms are present. This is called "Asymptomatic Transmission."
Research also shows that herpes simplex infections are often spread by people who don't know they are infected. These people may have symptoms so mild they don't notice them at all or else don't recognize them as herpes.

Many genital herpes infections are spread from persons who are asymptomatic "Shedders" of the virus.

Condoms provide only limited protection as the Herpes virus can be transmitted via areas that are not protected... eg the base of the penis and the scrotum.

Hi Sammy,

You are absolutely right about that - on Herpes. At least Herpes does not kill...it does not impair human body immunity systems...like HIV

At the very least, condoms will prevent nastier infections such as HIV from intruding the human bodies. If its based of the penis or scrotum, one would still live on healthly as a dignified human till ripe old age - enjoy and experience the pain of life till the very last breath designated by fate.

If one has gotten some other nastier problems from not using condoms, then it would be the biggest mistake one can ever make in their entire life...

I would still advocate the use of condoms...whatever it is...

I have found that many people who indulge in commercial sex are extremely ignorant regarding the risks involved.

They are also clueless regarding transmission methods of various stds.

While I agree that HSV does not kill, I have known people who have wrecked their marriages because of herpes. Like many here, they thought they could fuck around and all would be well if they simply used a condom.

The wives who caught HSV were the innocent victims of this misconception.

HSV is not a minor ailment. It can cause all sorts of serious problems including blindness.

Ignorance does kill...unfortunately and these are what wreck lifes and havocs for singles and married alike.

fucking around with condoms can definitely guard you against all other Stds except herpes...*sigh* If there are 100 types of stds, you are guarded from 99 out of 100 wouldn't that be perfect then not using condoms that put you at 100% risk? That is why when we say condoms are not 100% safe, but it is said to be at least 99% safe.

HSV is for sure not a minor ailment (both physiologically or emotionally)..however its magnitude of destruction is not as big as people having infected with hiv/aids. In my course of life, both professionally and personal, i encounter people who had hiv that they seemed more detrimental that hsv...at least the magnitude is greater for hiv...

Whatever it is...i still have the strongest belief to protect yourself from 99 types of stds and risk only risk to 1 std (kudos to hsv) than to expose your self to 100 types of stds...that put you all 100% risk.

My take: Use a condom...be 99% safe not 100% unsafe...

Condoms aren't that effective against HPV (genital warts) either. HPV is another virus that can be transmitted by intimate skin to skin contact via parts of the genitals that are not covered by the condom.

Genital Warts in itself is a minor ailment. However, like HSV, many people are asymptotic and therefore do not know that they are carriers of the virus.

HPV causes relative minor problems for males. However, it is strongly implicated in 95% of all cervical cancer cases. Cervical cancer is fatal if it is not detected via regular PAP smears.

Those who indulge in unprotected oral sex (BBBJ) are also putting themselves at risk of catching Hepatitis B, (causes liver cancer), Syphilis (fatal if not treated early) and a variety of other nasties.

That makes condoms 98% safe! Fellas or brothers reading this...bear this in mind, you will still be 98% safe! Why expose yourself to 100% risk when you can get 98% safe from all other nasty stds?

Moral of the horror stories (fact - non-fiction) to all samsters fraternity, pls wear a condom even when doing bbbj!

Wear a condom, you will never be wrong.

Your signature is misleading.

Use of a condom makes sex SAFER compared to not wearing one.

It does not make sex SAFE!

Hi Sammyboyfor,

Thanks for the feedback - appreciate that. I have incorporated that and amended my signature. I hope everyone will use a condom...

Cheers
