his is my 1st time writing a field report, Thank you.
I like to recommenced these Hotel, if you are going to Philippines, Barrio Barretto in Olongapo city.
It a very safe hotel (very near to police station) and most of all, they got Wi-Fi around the hotel and rooms. You will not feel bore if you stay there. Rooms rate from 1250 pesos to 4000 pesos. The resort almost like hotel 81 but rooms is bigger.
They have a in-house bar call Score Bar. Cost is not very high there, 1 beer is around 60 pesos and the gals cost is 1500 pesos to bring back to the rooms and she will stay with you till morning. If you are going to stay there long, you can always go out and see around, there are few bar there and if you are luck, you can find mix-bloods working gals (USA +Philippines) too. So far I been there 2 times, never had a problem when I was there.
I have some photo to share with all out there. Next time I go there again I will take more photo of it. ( if you have anything u need to know about these place, please pm or quote to me, I will try to answer it and share with all brothers out there)

I see no harm for Bro to post a new thread on this.
it makes reading easier.. to be frank, it is quite tedious to go thru' all the postings from page 1 to get all the info.
Once in a while, if there is a new happening or something to immediately to highlight to all cheongsters, a new thread is really helpful.

As for me I went there on 2011 OCT. Much of the information is up to date.

It is very near to subic, subic also have these kinda "bar" but more for local, the gal will go on stage and u get to chose, which gal u want.. Damage is 2500 pesos to 3000 pesos, come with 6 beer and bar fees. The mamasan will bring u to a room(no bed,no TV nothing just a sofa), and you can do what ever u want, I not sure for FJ, when I was inside the gal say if you want FJ u need to pay 2000 pesos for FJ, so I never go for it. If you thinking about going there, please bring along a local friend, if not try not going there,it not safe there.

Barrio Barretto is a town inside Olongapo city, same as Subic.
I find that in Barretto is the safest place along these 3 areas.
Most of the bar here is run by Ang mo. So the price (lady) is fix. No higher than that. There is few hotel there, I have stay in Suzuki too, but the cost is higher and inside the room, no wi-fi, no Internet. So I will not recommend this hotel.
Outside Suzuki, there is one bar, run by Ang mo and they have 1 lady is mix (US+phil). STY look age is around 20's.
excellent bro will b heading there on the 18th and was looking for some info ... u came up with this site just in time bro .... do u have the contact no of the hotel near the police station ...if so could u pls share it with me n also some of the things thst i should not miss there.... thanks again bro:cool:

Good to see some other like the laid back atmosphere in subic.
Olongapo has a few cheonging area.magsaysay-in oolongapo city itself.main town area.lots of philippino bar for the local.LD 200-300 barfine 2500 up.usually at 3000peso they lady will stay the night with ya.this is a philippino Muslim area very different from other parts, unless u have a local who show u around not recommended.foreigner seldom seen in this area even for the casino I frequent.environment can be pretty intimating.
Barrio baretto(subic)-foreigner friendly area.mostly American or Aussie mongering ground with small number of jap/Korean even more rare,Singaporean:)Laid back, right by the beach, some of the best food can be found here.thou higher price compare to ac.around 20 small bar all foreign expat owner.cheap price for drinks.40-70peso for local drink & LD 150.no double lady drink bullshit here.barfine most at 1500peso lady attitude 12.7time better than thier ac sister.thou runner & shit smell very nice gal exist here, the amount is little.many will be happy not just staying the night, but also hang around swimming & beach activity(beach not that clean)with u till time to report for work.most bar start from 6pm when sun starting to set & close 3am.a few bar open from noon after 2 or 3 pm.only 1 disco in this area but last heard it has close down.
Calapadayan-10 mins away by jeep from barrio baretto.many girls whi work barreto stays here.Nude show in bar going on here barfine is mostly 3000peso.philipino own & local terrority.occasionally can see some ang mo expat from baretto here drinking.thier gals at not that better looking then those in barreto but the price is double for local pinoy compare to barreto??
Hope these info helps:cool:

Its lovely to be with tht special someone watching the sunset...

Yeah one can rent jetski, bunga boat taking u to a couple of island & snorkering.if daring enough the boat man can even bring u to private island with your gal of the day & <fill the rest in with your imagination>
Not to forget there are 3 floating bar right on the sea & there are gals on it which u could barfine also.a very different experience.intereting is in gogo bar guy throws ping pong ball girls run after them to pick it up but on the floating bar u can buy a bucket of tennis ball to throw in the sea girls will swim after them to snatch those balls!remind me of animal show at ocean park may look demeaning at first but it's all done in a good fun when u see the gals loving & laughing the moment.
Bro wil to spend 3 weeks at arizona spending only 15000peso seems like a typo.given that if u took the cheapest room at 1250 cash discount it's already 26250(1250x 21)maybe it's a typo should be 150000?lol
Last year I spend 16 days in there my bill at the resort alone already 50000 above.but then I had good food everyday, steak, seafood.countless smb.LD.at least 6 barfine are from there not including other activity food & happening outside.its like heaven on earth.I discover that I tend to spend more in subic than in ac.maybe it's too relax?there are many nice cheap local option in ac around 50p can settle one meal.in baretto too many delious dish thats hard to pass .Drink wise cheaper than ac,no double lady drink here & girl attitude sweeter so i tend to go easier on the LDs.scenery nicer so my mood is better end up drink more.
Oo I miss subiccc...

I stay there 2011, I think around may or jun. after that I stay at Arizona in nov. as you know most of us used iPhone, need to used the wi-fi a lot ( call home etc)
Inside the room, can't get it. So always need to go to lobby. And the food is expansive, one breakfast cost 100 to 120 pesos. Food also no good.
So I refer stay at Arizona. Wi-fi have, gals have and beer too.
As say before, just under one roof.

The Suzuki has very good authentic Japanese cuisine....... or maybe because I like Japanese food so it suits me better...... this coming June I will be going to Subic with a Japanese friend who works here in Singapore..... he is taking the diving wreck course from Johan's Dive shop so I am accompanying him for this trip...... he made all the arrangements (plane/hotel/transport etc) and coincidentally we will be staying at the Suzuki Beach hotel.
I did asked him why he choose that hotel?
His reply: No choice lah.... we have to stay there because the owner is my relative. :)

Bro, once u back please write fr here... can't wait to hear fr u.
for sure bro.... im going with 5 others so should b enough to report... so stayed tuned.. cheers bro..... btw did my reservations with ros yesterday .... thanx once again brother

Actually there is much more to Subic than just the beach and the bars.
There is the Zoobic Safari where the animals are in the open unlike the Singapore Zoo where the animals are caged. It is quite an experience to drive in your Landrover and have tigers climbing onto the vehicle. :D
There is also a Marine Park. Your dolphin lagoon in Sentosa can learn a thing or two from this Marine Park. See how they rear and train the mammals to work for the US Navy.
If you are adventurous minded.... have a field day at the jungle survival village and try out your survivals skills.... I understand all Singapore males have to serve in the army so see how your skills compare to the jungle training camp for the US Marines during the Vietnam War era.
There are other activities like Ziplining, visit to the indigenous hill tribes of Olong, mountain trekking, natural hot springs.
There is much to do in Subic.... on weekends and public holidays many Filipino families come from the other parts of the Philippines to spend their holidays here.

I forgot to mention Subic has a newly opened duty free shopping mall...... it is huge and the largest duty free complex in the Philippines. It comprises mainly of famous American brands and imports. You can even buy a yacht or small plane there. :p

Hi all brothers, need your help and experience here...
I'm inviting my girlfriend back to singapore from philippines after she finished her contract as a domestic helper last month.
However, I didn't expect it to be a big problem. She was turned away at philippines immigration as they think she is coming back to look for a job. I tried at the philippines embassy but i found i could not invite as I'm not her relative. I found out that i need to go thru the agency in lucky plaza. Is it true?
Is it true that my gf needs to answer the questions posed by immigration correctly even if she has all the necessary documents?
Can any brothers here, especially the lao jiao here, pls show me the correct 100% full-proof to get my gf back to Singapore? Thanks much!!

Hi bro.... No offence....
Iv been thru this ....as well....
Sadly i cant guarantee u a fool proof method...
Iv been thru it personally... Times wen my GF got thru n times wen she was rejected...
No offence to u... Ur GF was a DH in spore earlier. Tht wld make it difficult for her. Unless ur GF is a uni grad or has some other skills.
Uually if ur GF has worked as DH before, theyd ask for things like work visa, or letter of invitation.
In my case... They asked for a letter of invitation n tht sufficed.. Oh yea they asked for a return tix to phil as well ....
Money exchange works as well...
U gotta take ur chances...
The first time i did it, i thought it was cake walk untill my GF was offloaded...
In a second instance i had a GF return to Spore via Macau... But she was a Uni Grad
Third instance was via Bkk... All different girls... I dun wanna go ibto the rest of the details... This is currently being discussed on another thread... U may wanna read tht up...
PS: paper works r uually handled by agencies for PI.

Id suggest basic sea facing hotels along Barrio Barretto....
Most places r walkable. Not tht difficult..
In fact the bars at Barrio Barretto are walkable... Map in tow n not hard to find...
U can do the 15 -20 min walk to Baloy Beach too if u r a fast walker...
Nothing is too far...
Any hotel along Barrio Barretto should do

The White Castle?
It was built as a prop for a movie during the pre-war years. Nat King Cole sang some songs for the movie soundtrack and one of them became a top hit.
He even came to the Philipiines to perform at the Colliseum.
It was the property of the producers of White Castle Whiskey which used it in the filming of the advertisements for the White Castle Whiskey. The company went bust and the building was left unattended and soon became derelict with graffiti all over its walls. It was only recently that someone repaired the building and gave it a white coat of paint.
The rumours were that a rich guy's daughter wanted a castle so he bought the building to present her. Dunno if its true coz no one has been able to confirm the rumours or finger the rich guy.

I am not sure what's your problem? It is the normal procedure for all female pinays leaving the country.
Hi all brothers, need your help and experience here...

However, I didn't expect it to be a big problem. She was turned away at philippines immigration as they think she is coming back to look for a job. None of the above. Most pobably she failed the AHT P/S inspections at the departure point.
Is it true that my gf needs to answer the questions posed by immigration correctly even if she has all the necessary documents?
The Primary Inspection is a verbal/visual interview by the immigration official manning the departure counter. If he/she assess that the interviewee is lying or suspicious, then a Secondary Inspection will follow.
The Secondary Inspection is more serious as 90% of of those subjected to it will never be allowed to board their flight.
The SI comprises of 3 parts. The 1st part is you have to fill in an immigration questionaire and every question MUST be answered.
The 2nd part is you will be interviewed by a separate AHT/DoJ official who will record your answers and send for cross reference with the earlier questionaire. This is the tricky part as they may ask the same question from the questionaire but present it in a different way so some people do get confused. This is also the part where they scrutinize your documents. They will let you know whether you can proceed at this point. No need for 3rd part if allowed to travel.
The 3rd part is you are given a chance to appeal and present your case. It is very rare that an appeal is successful at this stage unless you know some VVIP to pull some strings.
Can any brothers here, especially the lao jiao here, pls show me the correct 100% full-proof to get my gf back to Singapore? Thanks much!!
There is no 100% fool proof way. Singapore is a blacklisted country on the AHT watchlist.
The Philippines Embassy in Singapore has reported that Singapore, being a Freeport, is a regular destination and transshipment point of Filipinos who are victims of illegal recruiters and prostitution rings preying on young women.
The Embassy receives frequent queries from Filipinos in Singapore who wishes to invite relatives and/or friends to visit them and requires affidavits to be authenticated by them, as there have been discoveries of affidavits being forged by human trafficking syndicates to facilitate the departure of "tourist workers" or would-be OFWs dusguised as tourists.
Immigration officials at the airports may require affidavits and other proofs from travelling Filipinos who claim they were invited by relatives and friends abroad. Such affidavits must be authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, but such affidavit is not a guarantee that the invitee will be allowed to depart.
It is the discretion of the immigration official to allow or disallow the departure of a passenger depending on the assessment during primary and secondary inspections.

As far as I knw, barwise Olongapo City is better... correct me if im wrong here :)
US navy was stationed there at Subic, the City proper is Olongapo City, so maybe the confusion is because that Subic is more popular to tourist due to the American Navy...
while their US Airforce was stationed at Clark, and their city is Pampanga...

Olongapo was the original Disneyland for the US sailors stationed in Subic. They are not very far apart. From the gates of Subic Naval Base you can hear the bass booming from the bars, which are only about 300m away :D
In those days all the bars were in Olongapo City with the majority of the Girlie bars sited along Bar Barrieto. There were other clusters spread throughout the city. Gay bars, Lesbo bars, Sports bars, etc were all in different parts of the City.
It was only after the Americanos left that bars started to spring up in Subic, mainly belonging to the Dryden group. Currently the bars remaining in Olongapo are mainly those located in Bar Barrieto although the odd one or two watering hole can still be found in the other parts of Olongapo.
If you're going there just for barhopping, it does not matter whether its Subic or Olongapo you're visiting as they are within walikng distance of each other. But if you want to explore Olongapo City, then it is a different matter. I would not walk. Cars are available for hire. :)

Yes US airForce was at Clarke air Base which was closed post Mt Pinatubo.
On d other hand, Subic Bay Naval Base was a major Ship repair supply and most importantly the Major R&R facility.
It was considered to be the CHEAPEST R&R facility anywhere in Asia
I think Bar wise you are referring to the days of the US Navy....
Those were the heady days....
Thosevdays the number of Bars n Girls was humongous....
Today.... However most sailors call it a dump when compared with yester year Glory. You just cant compare the number of bars/girls in Subic with AC....
Maybe just the Dollhouse group will out number the girls in olongapo/subic/barrio barretto by a huge margin
However Subic/olongapo has a charm of its own....
Ppl go to Subic for reasons Other than the crass commercialisation that AC has become famous for eg., double LD, ST etc
Why?
Its laidback
Peaceful
Lesser touts n pimps now wen compared with AC/manila....( However a lot more during the US Navy days)
Less traffic
Quiet.
You feel you are transported into a different world
As far as I knw, barwise Olongapo City is better... correct me if im wrong here :)
US navy was stationed there at Subic, the City proper is Olongapo City, so maybe the confusion is because that Subic is more popular to tourist due to the American Navy...
while their US Airforce was stationed at Clark, and their city is Pampanga...
sorry for the mess up sentence... a little bit drunk hehehe

Just to give everyone an idea of the kinda DisneyLand Olongapo was....
The sheer nos.... The size..... Uncomparable even with present day AC.
In the words of a US Sailor..... here goes....
The sun always seemed hotter in Olongapo than in any other West-Pac port. And when you crossed the bridge over the fetid Bajac River, the stench—the musty, rotten-earth smell of the place—was unmistakable.
Olongapo during the war was the “work horse” of the Seventh Fleet’s liberty ports, and it had no equal in the claim of being the dirtiest, most degenerate port in all the Orient. With Olongapo, what you saw was what you got—the basics.
Every sailor or ex-sailor knows what the basics are. Anyway, after 35 days on Vietnam patrol, it was our kind of place. I remember when we stepped off that bridge into town, we’d be overrun by Filipinos trying to sell us everything from monkey meat on a stick to their sisters. We’d push our way through them, taking special care to protect our wallets because we knew they’d try to grab them out of our pockets. And we laughed at the idea of eating monkey meat on a stick, which looked like a cross between beef jerky and barbecued beef to us. What kind of fools did they take us for anyway? (They told us it was chicken.)
“We” were the sailors of the USS Wilhoite, which, without doubt, was the “baddest” DER in the fleet, and when we were in port, we were ready for liberty at the drop of a white hat.
Olongapo was the consummate liberty town, made up of bars, bargirls, pimps, and San Miguel beer, along with an eclectic collection of beggars, hawkers, American copycat entertainers, and other human flotsam too numerous to classify. In other words, it was everything a sailor could ever want in a liberty port.
Rizal Avenue with all of its bars was alive with activities geared to separate us from our money. Beyond the world of the Rizal Avenue bars, we saw very little else of Olongapo, because everywhere else was classified out-of-bounds. So we didn’t dare stray too far.
We were there to have a good time, to unwind, and Olongapo fit the bill just fine—it was a great place for the sailors of the U.S. Seventh Fleet to blow off steam on their way to and from 'Nam, even if it was filthy, stunk to high heaven, and they sold you monkey meat on a stick pretending it was chicken.
Jeepneys were the primary mode of transportation along the several-mile length of Rizal Avenue in those days. Charging along in these gaudy machines, we’d hang on for dear life as the drivers did their best to imitate NYC cabbies under the pretense of taking us to the best bars in town stocked with the best-looking bargirls, or so they’d claim.
Baloots were right up there in a sailor’s heart with the monkey meat they said they’d never eat. Prominently displayed in most Olongapo bars, in large, fishbowl-like jars of pickled brine, as I remember them, baloots were fifteen or sixteen day fertilized chicken eggs that Filipinos considered a delicacy. Some sailors considered them a delicacy, too, but only after they’d had too many San Miguel beers. Most old-time sailors who visited Olongapo in their navy days would know what a baloots is; in fact, they may have even consumed a few, but I doubt they’d admit it now. They’d also remember Jeepneys, San Miguel beer, bargirls and monkey meat on a stick, because all these things were woven into the tapestry of the Olongapo experience during the Vietnam War era.
We were no match for the citizens of Olongapo. Nor were we a match for the bargirls, the Jeepney drivers, or the street-hawkers. They were all trained in the science of separating us from our money, and we were in way over our heads when it came to dealing with them, powerless against their systematic technique of separating us from our money.
On average, within three hours from the time we crossed that bridge into the city of Olongapo, we were broke, picked clean. I don’t know where I came up with this statistic, but I bet it’s true.
At the end of the night, as "Cinderella Liberty" came to an end, we’d pour out of town, too drunk to give a damn, but knowing we had to get back to our ships or get in trouble. And, oh yes, we’d consume that monkey meat on a stick that we’d said we’d never touch; we’d scarf it down like it was the delicacy the street vendors claimed it was. In groups and individually, and in various degrees of sobriety, we’d head for the "cattle cars" that would transport us to the dock, from where we’d be taken via motor launch out to our ships anchored in Subic Bay.
We must have presented a comical scene, something straight out of a Hollywood movie, as we emptied out of town to beat the midnight curfew—a parade of drunken sailors staggering along, scarfing down monkey meat on a stick. This migration of sailors out of Olongapo took place under the watchful eyes of the Shore Patrol, who were lined up on both sides of the road leading to the cattle car pens, ready to apply force if the need arose, which it usually did, especially in the cattle cars.
Olongapo was buried under a foot of ash in the volcanic eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991, which devastated the city. Whatever is happening there today is going on without U.S. forces, including the navy.
The Philippine government kicked the United States military out of the country for good in the early 90s. However Olongapo has evolved and rebuilt itself in modern times, it will never be like it was in the heyday of the Vietnam War when the U.S. Seventh Fleet reigned supreme, and we on the Wilhoite were in the thick of things. Then, it was a place that any sailor who ever pulled liberty there, including the men of the USS Wilhoite, will never forget.

Bro Datou, I just noticed your signature.. you'll be leaving AC on the 13th of June and returning a week later on the 19th of June, is that correct? You're practically a Filipino already, spending more time in Philippines than outside Phil. Wanna go to Olongapo the next time I'm there? I also want to do a charity run.. That was very good fun.. maybe Brother Ziebart can organise one in Olongapo.. :D
Yes ,what u indicated abt my dates is correct.
Hahaha...I don't want to be Filipino cause all girls dislike most pinoys.
I m still greenhorn for many Phil cities n still need lots of guidance.
Well going Olongapo can be arranged w an hour n half ride in coach.
U going see girlfriend there right? I wanna go but no gf to see there leh..;)

The PI is getting more reckless so bros do take extra precautions when venturing into unknown territory. Even the bodyguard of the Justice Secretary (equivalent to our Home Affairs Minister) De Lima was murdered few days ago. He was still working with De Lima on last thursday and left that night to return home. His bullet riddled body was found the next day after colleagues failed to receive any response from attempts to contact him. Justice Secretary De Lima had testified before Senate in the impeachment trial against the Chief Justice Corona and had refused to return to Senate to be cross-examined. She suspects the murder and her testimony are linked.
Just last week a shootout between 2 groups of policemen in Ilolo resulted in 4 dead and 6 injured including 2 bystanders.
Immigration authorities have arrested a 40 year old Singaporean male chinese for human trafficking of 4 pinays into the island state in 2008. He allegedly recruited these waitresses from Tarlac, Samar and brought them over to Singapore. The girls were forced to work in pubs and provide sexual services. The girls were rescued and repatriated with assistance from the International Justice Mission. Investigations by the DoJ was conducted to establish the identity of the Singapore male and he was placed on the watchlist. He was arrested after coming into Manila from Malaysia. Prosecutors are seeking for a minimum jailtime of 3 years.
In Cebu, the 2nd son of the Mayor of Cebu was gunned down while partying at a niteclub. He was killed with a single shot to the left side of his head at point blank. Earlier he was seen having an argument with some other patrons of the club.

Interesting note.....no slipperz/casual attire within the Base. So if ur taking the Yellow jeepney make sure you hv shoes/polo T atleast n pants
Travelling in Barrio Barretto and Olongapo
Tricycles and public utility jeepneys are used to provide public transportation within Olongapo.
Jeepeneys are colour-coded, based on the routes they ply. There are three that are useful: blue, yellow and red.
The blue jeepney (Subic to Olongapo City) goes to and from Olongapo City to Barretto. Some blue jeepneys go as far as Castillejos, another village after Subic. The terminal of the blue jeepney that takes you to Barretto is conveniently located on a side street (behind ChowKing), next to the Victory Liner bus station.
The yellow jeepney (Sta Rita to Main Gate of SBMA) can take you to two of the gates of the Subic Freeport Naval Base from Olongapo City. (By the way, you cannot enter the Base in slippers or very casual attire).
The red jeepney (Gordon Heights to Main Gate of SBMA) goes to another public market called Pag-Asa from Olongapo City.

Most foreigners come to Subic via DMIA (Clark) or NAIA (Manila).
There is another airport in Olongapo itself but unfortunately for us no commercial airline has flights into that airport currently. It is mostly used by DHL, Phil-Ex and some private planes.

R u referring to Subic Bay International airport?
Fed-Ex has moved its Asia-Pacific hub to Guangzhou in China. Thereupon SBMA has submitted a proposal for The closure of SBIA to convert The area to a logistics hub.
Another reason is plans are already in place for expansion of DMIA.
However it still remains an airport. Its a reasonably modern airport n can handle wide bodied aircraft
For the moment, Guam-based Aviation Concepts has set up fixed-based operations as a full service business jet center at Subic Bay International Airport, which has made it Asia’s largest private aviation firm in terms of hangar space (100,000 square feet). The company has over 161,000 sq ft (15,000 sq m) of hangar and office space at Subic Bay, with plenty of scope to expand its existing handling and line maintenance service
Continued overcrowding and access problems at key Asia Pacific airports such as Hong Kong International mean that Subic Bay in the Philippines is well placed to serve as a business aviation hub for the region.... Gives a new lease of life to SBIA?

DIA is like fishing. In AC, it's like fishing in the "sure catch" pond. Easy to get a fish but no "fight" thrill. Also if you want to take the fish home, you pay again for the fish by weight, or you pay a higher price to fish in the "sure catch" pond.
DIA in Cebu or other places is like fishing in the competition pond. You need skill and luck. The fight to pull the fish in and the thrill is memorable. You also will never know what type of fish you pull in. A grouper or a catfish??
Anyway there is always the fish market that you can resort to and buy a fish after a failed try in the competition pool. datou will know where the best fish market is in Cebu. I am also a regular customer there.

Different Samsters use different methods.
U can also use ur atm card (but there r two fees spore bank charge plus local bank charge apart from exchange rate issue)
Citibank atm withdrawals (previously mentioned by datou)
Bring along S$ to exchange n use atm withdrawal wen necessary. Works best for me.
To each his own method.:)

Barfine costs around 1500 - 2500 girls tip around depends on the girl , how long they stay must see how handsome you are whahaha. If not pier one in the base has some really nice looking chicks 2000 - 3000 pesos. If nit cheaper alternative for girls and drinks , get a cab go to bereto. Prolly cost 500 pesos. Tons of agogo bar there. Hope you guys find it useful.

Thks for the alert, bro Comjuka
Would u like to PM me abt this philipine forum since my pic is there, so i can better know what precaution to take?
Sure its not a problem. I hope your tagalog is up to the mark as the website is in our lingo. :D
Here's the link :- http://www.girlsatnight.tk/
This is a site where bargirls talk about mongers. They have different threads and sections just like SBF. I've read a bunch of bar girl posts and I didn't think they were that much different than ours. If a guy treats them well and they have fun together, then they will post a positive comment about you. If you treat them like shit, have poor hygiene, or are a kuripot, then they will be motherfucking you. The most common thing they bitch about is guys lying to them.
You might be able to bullshit a girl or two on one trip to AC but this site proves that these girls are talking to each other and all the veteran players know all too well how the girls will remember you even a year or two later. If word gets out that you have any of the above mentioned character flaws, then it will screw you in the long run because they talk about all their tricks for getting even with the guys who have been blacklisted.
P.S - To all those that flooded my PM inbox, please note that I am not in the habit of replying to PMs. :)

Yes i's like a duplication of our site except on the opposite sex, discussing abt the mongering scene in Philipines n the men or customers that they meet.

From the activity, I don't think there are alot of WLs on that site.
U keep on seeing the thread starters are the admin/moderator themselves to keep it alive.
And 18 days no posts at all tells it all.
Even the copy n paste does come, who's interested? Maybe a couple of them who are supported got too much time on their side or some involve in matters of the heart.
Think most of the WLs are busy trying to look for customers to make more money than anything else. They'll rather spend more time on DIA or YM or facebook or texting for income related activities.
Their mindset on forums n websites are different from ours (spend money) n so are their situation (needs money).

One of the nicest aspects of Olongapo to me is has been the beach facing resorts.
Its just so lovely to wake up in d mornin with the sea facing you.
While the villas <<to some>> n in the filipino context r considered expensive...They r great value for money when you travel in large groups...
So while its considered expensive for 1-2 ppl, its great value for a larger group.

How to Get to Olongapo & Subic Bay Philippines
Subic is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from Dau n about 3 - 3.5 hrs from Manila... (depends on traffic from Manila upto Dau). Its located about 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Manila and only 60 kilometers (about 38 miles) from Subic.
If ud ask me, id recommend a private car... Does not cost much.
There are various ways of getting here. It depends on ur budget n the place where u wan to begin ur journey from.
Private Car/Taxi
By private car, the trip from Manila is less than 3 hours. Take the North Luzon Expressway thru to the Dau exit. Then follow the signs to the SCTEx and Subic. Travel along the SCTEx to Subic Freeport and then follow the signs to Olongapo and Iba.
From here you gotta decide if you wan to stay on in Olongapo, visit SBFZ, Barretto, which is about a 10 minute drive past Olongapo or drive a lil bit further up and turn left into Baloy Long Beach Road.
By Bus ex Manila
Daily bus service is provided from the Manila area by two Bus lines.
By Victory Liner bus, the trip from Manila to Subic is abt 4 hours.
Victory Liner: Frequent at least hourly service from 4am to 6pm from Pasay city, Kalookan, Sampaloc, and Cubao. Non express service is also available at other times. Their Olongapo terminal located at the APO monument.
Buses run from the Pasay Terminal to Olongapo every 30 minutes. Once you get to Olongapo, the Baloy Beach is about 20 minutes by trike or Jeepney. Buses from Pasay Terminal run from 5:00am till 6:00pm.
There are also frequent bus services from Kalookan, Sampaloc and Cubao.
Dun fOrget to look for Select busses express tht ply via the SCTEX
Saulog transit: hourly service from 2am to 2pm. departing from Cavite city. Olongapo Terminal is behind the city mall at the main gate SBF.
Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA) – Subic Bay Freeport.
Limited charter services are available to reach here from Manila. From time to time various low cost carriers evince interest to land here. But nothing concrete at d moment.
From Manila and points South
Depending on traffic conditions the drive from Manila will take about two to three hours to get to the SBF area. Take the Northern Expressway to the SCTex exit a few kilometers past the Angeles toll booth. Take the SCTex in the direction of Subic. the SCTex merges with the Tipo expressway and further into the Subic Bay Freeport zone. The SCtex is a very fast and scenic trip to Subic Bay.
Those who may not wish to use the SCTex can still use the old route. Exit the NLEX at the City of San Fernando exit. Follow the signs in direction of Olongapo. Depending on your final destination take the Tipo-Subic expressway to go to SBF, Barrio Barretto and points north. Continue on the National highway for points before Olongapo City proper. note this route is prone to heavy traffic and also major delays when there are heavy rains.
From Ida:
Take the National highway south to Olongapo. From Angeles city and points North:The SCTex has three entrances around the Clark and Angeles City area. Take in the direction of Subic about 35 minutes to the end of the expressway on the Subic Bay Freeport.
The Dummy way To get to Olongapo City / Subic Bay, Fly The Bus from the Swagman Hotel Manila or direct from Angeles City / Clark.
Fly The Bus Angeles City - Olongapo City / Subic Bay
9:00 am to 10:00 am Monday - Wednesday - Friday - Sunday
To Any Hotel in Subic Bay
Fly The Bus Olongapo City / Subic Bay - Angeles City

You get a dive master with you .. but, make sure you are not left alone ..
One too many time, the diver master try to jaga 4 people and then one person in distress, he cannot manage ..
One-for-one, atleast the nearly pure oxygen is good as getting it up on Vitamin V :D
Trust me ..

I'd rather dive in Cebu or Dumaguate waters.... the waters there are so pristine clear and the dive sites they have there are so beautiful. It was a shock diving in Subic waters.... I think the factories nearby are dumping the industrial wastes into them waters..... and I came across some writeups in some dive mags that divers are picking up skin allergies after doing Subic.

Its all about business. The supply and demand for the flight service, the competition and alternatives for the consumer and the cost of providing the service( direct and indirect cost ).

I am planning to go to Subic in mid-June.
Can I confirm the following ?
1.Gogo bars in Subic are in 3 different areas :
a) Calapandayan b) Baleyo beach c) Barreto
2.Among the 3 places above the prices in Barreto for our drinks, ladies drinks, bar fines are the lowest.
3.The number of bars in Barreto is the most.
Based on this info, I plan to stay at Barreto. Any recommendation of a hotel smack in the middle of the action e.g. Kokomos in Angeles ?
The number of bars is more in Angeles or in Olongapo City ?
How safe is Barreto area ? Advisable to walk back after partying past midnight ? Are the roads brightly lit at night? Prefer to stay right near the bars so as to avoid excessive walking alone after the bar hops.
How much will it cost to take a taxi/mini van from NAIA straight to Subic?
Thanks for the info.

Roughly how much is "Does not cost much" ?

Our LOS taikor is coming to Subic........ roll out the red carpet (drum rollllllll please).
Subic is nothing like the BKK you are so used to..... it has seen better days and is a place to slow down and relax. Since you are coming in mid-June, the floating bars along Baloy Beach may not be opened due to the expected typhoons so it is better to cheong the Barrieto bars.
Safety wise.... it is safer than fields / perimeter...... just take the usual precautions.... the locals here are much more friendlier and laidback than those in AC...... the most likely danger you will encounter is most probably to be "robbed" by the little street child beggars...... the place is overwhelmed by them........ remember to keep plenty of small change. :D
There is a van service running from NAIA to Subic but it runs only one trip per day and seats are limited to van capacity (about 10-12 pax). Ask your hotel to arrange a pickup service.
Someone posted here about a bus shuttle service that was available but that was ages ago. The service has been discontinued. That is the problem with cut n paste...... the information is outdated and this idiot dun even bother to check its accuracy before posting it.

The Dummy way To get to Olongapo City / Subic Bay, Fly The Bus from the Swagman Hotel Manila or direct from Angeles City / Clark.
Fly The Bus Angeles City - Olongapo City / Subic Bay

To Any Hotel in Subic Bay
Fly The Bus Olongapo City / Subic Bay - Angeles City
12:30 pm Monday - Wednesday - Friday - Sunday
To Swagman Travel Angeles
Halo.... if you want to cut n paste at least make sure the info you post is up to date...... be more responsible and dun fly our fellow bros to Holland.
The Fly the Bus service by Swagman Travel dun run anymore. After the Swagman hotel was sold.... the new owners decided to do away with the travel agency...... business was bad and now pending foreclosure.
With the cancellation of the Fly The Bus service..... the Dryden group started their own van service for AC-Subic-AC with effect from 1st April 2011..... that was more than a year ago!
Details of the service (3S - Subic Super Shuttle) :-
12.00pm - AC (pickup point at Kokomo's) to Subic (drop off at Treasure Island / Kokomo's or Arizona only).
Cost - 650p (one way) / 1100p (two way)

Iv been thinkin abt this long n hard as well...
Sometimes its cheaper to fly to NAIA. Thts wht i did for one of my nurse gfs who wanted to go back on a holiday.
Demand n supply/competition or the lack thereof The main factor
Among other factors More locals using DMIA as their inbound/outbond port.
The passenger traffic at DMIA Has been steadily growing.
At most times we find DMIA reasonably empty coz the flights r spaced out unlike at NAIA where they arrive almost in quick succession.
One of the possible reasons is tht higher no of p
Cebu Pacific Airfares.

are you sure the allergy is not due to the 'white men' not acclimatised to local waters ? :D
Or maybe the nuclear discharge from the Sub that visits Subic often ? ;) or worse .. the chemicals that US Navy dumped is oozing out ..
Oh, btw, some of the factories there are owned by Singapore ..

Be aware that Cebu Pac has gone overboard on their "promotions" and now has several flights overbooked. The past few weeks saw an increase in complaints against them by offloaded passengers which prompted the Travel Authority to issue a censure and hit them with a penalty. Cebu Pac further acknowledged that some flights were overbooked up to the end of the year but they are trying their best to remedy the situation.
Hope none of you get offloaded in your coming trips. Good Luck! :D

Transportation from NAIA to Subic with driver provided is available at the airport. Car = 4000p and MPV = 4500p. Distance is about 130 km. The MPV can take up to 7 pax so sometimes it is worth it if you can find some others to share the ride. :D

Cebu Pac is not overbooking, they are just 'consolidating' so 5 flights become 4, so somebody has to be dumped.
LCC systems don't allow Wait listing. Cash and carry - that's their model.

Ya u are right, only top management are singaporeans now.
Have you heard of this incident last year? Sometime last year Keppel HQ sent a couple of guys to conduct an audit on the Subic facility.
After a week of checking here checking there, these 2 Singaporeans decided to take a break in AC during the weekend. They got the Keppel security to arrange a hired vehicle with driver to ferry them there and back. On the way to AC, the vehicle turned off the highway into a petrol station to refill while the 2 Singapore guys went to use the toilet. Inside the toilet, the 2 guys were robbed at gunpoint of their cash and valuables. After the robber left, they rushed out of the toilet and raised the alarm..... despite it being a busy petrol station everyone denied having seen the robber nor offered any assistance to the victims. The word out on the streets was that it was a setup.
These guys must have pissed off some people during their audit for them to take the trouble to set them up.

Wow... Dam unlucky. As long no one get hurt.
I read about this incident which was discussed in detail on another forum..... apparently the locals were pissed by the audit and fault finding of these 2 Singaporeans. The concensus was that these 2 Singkies were set up to teach them a lesson.
