Leaving for BKK tomorrow morning. Hopefully can get some answers by tonight. So I can do my super duper last min hotel booking.

The last time I stayed at Twin Towers hotel.. brought a girl back from an A-go-go bar... the hotel asked me pay 700 baht for the girl to be brought up to the room!! i know there are some hotels which dun practice this right? May i have some recommendations on hotels that don't have this stupid rule?

Cheers!

bro ... twin tower hotel is a non-gal friendly hotel ...
thus if u bring a gal back ... u'll need to pay "extra" ....
it's common practise in BKK ....
thus i would advise u to get a gal-friendly hotel to enjoy ur stay in BKK ...

u can check out with TIM on the hotels ... he's the owner of thai hotel bookings in this banner ...
this is the link ...

Many thanks for that.

Yes as you are booking for tomorrow suggest u use my instant confirmation website.

Admiral Premier and Aspen Suites have incredible prices for a 3 night stay at the moment.

They are guest friendly as well. No charge for a lady guest.

On the booking form, you will be asked for 2 names.

First name is yours.

Second name pls enter Ms guest(first name) and guest( family name)

Both hotels are superb. Aspen Suites for Nana, Admiral for Cowboy. Best deals around.

I normally stay in a 5 Stars hotel like the InterCon, Westin, Conrad or Hilton etc (Co's money...Ha), so I dun get this problem...

Since gotta pay the extra, might as well stay in a better hotel and enjoy the extra comfort?

My 2cents worth :)

How would you know the name of the FL u're bringing back beforehand?
Or do you mean to write the word guest?
Or as long as you write something they dun bother u?

Thanks.

Its just for the booking form, as you need to put both names for the room.

You need to only simply type guest for both first and family names. As if you have only 1 name, the forum cannot be submitted, and to be guest friendly you need to have a room for 2 people.

This is what I do when I need to take an early morning flight as I always sleep late.

Take the last train to Changi Airport on the day before your early morning flight. Hang around, drink beer, eat supper, read a book or surf the net with your notebook. Before you know it, it's time to check in. :)

Nowadays, apart from the cheapest airfare, I also take into consideration the timing of flight ... dun wanna wake up so early and get there still half-asleep. Best is to fly around noon-time and reach there just nice for hotel check-in (usually after 12pm). Especially for Bangkok, since most of the city is still asleep and the malls only opens after 10am anyway :D

Hope u have a 'sanuk' time in BKK!

I personally hate to take early flights..Imagine if the flight is 7am, you got to be there 2 hours before or latest an hour before gate closes..Futhermore, if you take a cab b4 6am, extra charge applies..I rather get late flight, but of course, to thailand, my preferred flight is noon onwards..:)

Bro,

Don't think Swiss Park is girl friendly. Was there on my first virgin trip and had to pay on and off. Depend if they catch you or not.

Bro,

Swiss Park is definitely 100% guest friendly. Did you book a single room 1 Person, or a Twin/Double for 2 people as this hotel has different prices for both.

If you booked a Single room, then you would need to pay a joiner.

eh.. i dropped a mail to diamond city here's their reply..

in the email i crafted i said i was interested to stay at their hotel and together with 4 friends will be booking a double room each... and i asked whether they are guest friendly..

"Warmest Greeting from Diamond City Hotel, Bangkok

Thank you for your email and your interest in staying with us. We are deeply appreciated. Regarding your enquiry, pls kindly be informed that one room can occupy for two persons in a room if you book for double occupancy. This means that if you come with your friend and book one room each person. Then later on u bring a female guest, the hotel would not charge you. However, if you bring more than one person and end up staying more than two persons in a room, the hotel is needed to charge for the joiner.

Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Should you need further assistance or information, pls do not hesistant to contact me.

Best Regards,
Gift"
